In USA we are suffering from centralized, authoritarian health care whose dictates are enforced by the carrot of federal grants and stick of legal liability, also controlled by the federal govt. Moreover, our health agencies are fully captured by the companies whose products they are supposed to regulate. Even worse, this situation is all but unfixable because Congress is also captured as is the Executive branch and court system. The situation is so bad that health authorities have openly banned good treatments for covid and required bad ones while virtually no one anywhere in Congress or govt has said a single word about it. Doctors normally figure out how to treat new diseases starting at the individual patient-doctor level. At the same time, doctors talk to each other and share what works, what doses, when to give, etc. From there, good protocols can be established globally as has been done with HCQ, IVM, budesonide, and many other medications. 2,000 healthcare workers sue Maine gov. to block vaccine mandate
BANGOR, Maine (LifeSiteNews) – Liberty Counsel has filed a lawsuit representing over 2,000 Maine healthcare workers to fight a measure that requires all health care workers in the state of Maine to receive full COVID-19 vaccination.
The brief states that “All Plaintiffs seek in this lawsuit is to be able to continue to provide the health care they have provided to patients for their entire careers, and to do so under the same protective measures that have sufficed for them to be considered superheroes for the last 18 months.”
The brief also asks a federal judge in Bangor to impose a temporary order that would stop the measure from taking effect. The mandate comes on the heels of the implementation of a law passed in 2019 that prohibits religious exemptions from vaccination.
