I for one do not believe these mistakes were entirely innocent. I can relate to doctors in fields not closely related to covid being unwilling or unable to speak up. And I can relate to bureaucrats and political functionaries being afraid to speak up. Same for low-level hospital administrators, academics, and scientists. But people at or near the top of the food chain who banned early treatments, mandated vaccines, restricted hospital treatments, denied religious and other exemptions, wrote garbage “news” stories about all of this, you behaved very badly.

The Buddhist way out of this terrible karma you have incurred is: 1) publicly admit your mistakes; 2) apologize for your mistakes; 3) make amends for your mistakes as you are able and as are proportionate to the harm caused; 4) vow never to do anything like that again. Take your lumps, suffer for having violated your own conscience. Then, when all of this has been completed and you have done your best and your vow is strong, put it behind you and dwell on it no more. For many for whom the above is necessary, this period of remorse and self-examination should last at least a year or more. ABN

1) children have an abundant population of innate B cells that are capable of rapidly producing innate/ natural antibodies (Abs), mostly of IgM isotype, and that are highly adaptable to a broad and diversified spectrum of antigens or pathogenic agents. Innate Abs can facilitate cell-mediated killing of host cells infected with Coronaviruses (CoVs), including all SC-2 variants,independently of previous immune priming by antigen / pathogen encounters.

2) innate immunity can be trained such as to acquire memory and, therefore, improve the host’s innate immune defence upon future exposure to more infectious variants that may emerge during an epidemic or pandemic.

3) the C-19 vaccines undermine the innate immune system by, for example, hindering binding of innate, low affinity antibodies and by interfering with the normal training of a child’s innate immune system.

Developing technology reverses hearing loss

Founded by MIT scientists, the clinical-stage biotech company Frequency Therapeutics discovered a way to reverse hearing loss without hearing aids or implants. Focusing on progenitor cells (which reside in the inner ear and turn into hair cells when humans are in utero, before going dormant) the company injects small molecules into the cochlea, which transform these cells into hair cells that help us hear. During their 200-person trial, the company saw meaningful improvement in patients’ hearing, with some reporting improved speech perception after a single injection that lasted nearly two years.

Psilocybin breaks rigid patterns in the depressed brain, study shows

Psilocybin, the active compound in magic mushrooms, can ‘open up’ the brains of people with depression, helping patients to overcome rigid thought patterns and negative fixations, new research suggests.

A study led by the Imperial Centre for Psychedelic Research has shown that psilocybin therapy increases brain connectivity in people living with depression, even weeks after the treatment. The psychedelic acts in a way that conventional antidepressants do not, suggesting that psilocybin could be an effective, viable alternative to treating depression.   

“These findings are important because for the first time we find that psilocybin works differently from conventional antidepressants, making the brain more flexible and fluid, and less entrenched in the negative thinking patterns associated with depression,” says Professor David Nutt, head of the Imperial Centre for Psychedelic Research.
