“Informed consent” means being informed

Ensuring that patients clearly understand risks — including known risks as well as potential unknown risks — is an important component of the informed consent process. This is all the more true when the intervention is experimental and lacks long-term safety data, as is the case with the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines against COVID-19. The FDA authorized the two vaccines for widespread emergency use based on just two months of clinical trial data.

There are several links to peer reviewed papers in the above article. There is no question that the covid vaccines hold unknown risks that health care providers are legally required to inform their patients about.

NOTE: I am not an anti-vaxxer. I am a rational thinker and a big fan of free-speech. Since I am not seeing major news stories outlining the risks of some vaccines, I am providing this information to readers. It is very disturbing to me that individuals who provide information like this can be mocked, deplatformed, even accused of promoting pseudoscience when we are doing the opposite.

In Germany, German ministry hired scientists to induce corona fear:

At the beginning of last year, the German Ministry of the Interior worked with several scientists on a strategy to increase fear of corona, in order to foster understanding for drastic corona measures. The newspaper Die Welt reports this on the basis of a leaked email exchange.

Minister of the Interior Seehofer and the scientists involved have so far not responded. Opposition parties demand clarification.

The emails date from March and April 2020, when Germany was in the first lockdown. Seehofer was concerned about easing too quickly and instructed his State Secretary Markus Kerber to come up with a plan to create support for more stringent measures.

We know similar propaganda happened in USA through improper PCR tests which were knowingly used to inflate “case” numbers; MSM and Dems played along. Death statistics were also falsified to include the mere possibility of covid as “died from covid” rather than “died with covid” or, more honestly, died of something else.

In New York, Gov Cuomo hid damning information about deaths among nursing home patients. The particulars of this story are just breaking but we already knew that Cuomo had deliberately not used the emergency hospital at Javits Center or the hospital ship docked near the city, both supplied by his political nemesis Donald Trump.

It wouldn’t have looked good back then to give Trump a win with the hospitals, just as later it wouldn’t have looked good to admit thousands died for Cuomo’s career. Even more cynically, the resultant large death figures were used to mandate lockdowns which destroyed much of New York’s economy.

DeSantis told Dr. Fauci he trusted his own state health authorities over financially incentivized federal officials.

“How much do you stand to earn from these vaccines, Dr. Fauci? And, Joe, if you continue with this course of action, I will authorize the state National Guard to protect the movement of Floridians,” DeSantis said.

“Address me as Mr. President or President Biden,” Biden said.

“I will not, and you can go fuck yourself,” DeSantis said before hanging up.

Over-the-counter asthma inhalers show 90% reduction of covid symptoms

Inexpensive asthma inhalers appear to be extremely effective at preventing severe COVID-19 symptoms. And they may even work for the common cold, which is also a coronavirus.

“When we first began the trial back in March [2020], we were hoping for 50 per cent reduction [in risk of developing serious symptoms], which itself would have been very high,” he said.

“We got 90 per cent, which even with only a few hundred people is off the charts.

“And it’s not just the overall result – their temperatures are less, they get less fever, and they recover faster.”

Since false positive tests for covid are down sharply (and not coincidentally) since Biden’s inauguration and since we also know that many deaths attributed to covid are actually “died with covid,” or worse, were attributed to covid due to perverse financial incentives for covid diagnoses, it is reasonable to conclude that much of the US covid response has been badly wrong; or worse deliberately wrong for extremely perverse political reasons.

The video below was shot several months ago which makes it even more interesting. Yeadon is well-qualified to speak on covid, but has been suppressed by Big Tech and MSM because his views do not fit The Narrative.

LSD alters dynamic integration and segregation in the human brain

…Our main finding is that the effects of LSD on brain function and subjective experience are non-uniform in time: LSD makes globally segregated sub-states of dynamic functional connectivity more complex, and weakens the relationship between functional and anatomical connectivity. On a regional level, LSD reduces functional connectivity of the anterior medial prefrontal cortex, specifically during states of high segregation. Time-specific effects were correlated with different aspects of subjective experiences; in particular, ego dissolution was predicted by increased small-world organisation during a state of high global integration. These results reveal a more nuanced, temporally-specific picture of altered brain connectivity and complexity under psychedelics than has previously been reported.

Using a combination of telescopes, including the Very Large Telescope of the European Southern Observatory (ESO’s VLT), astronomers have revealed a system consisting of six exoplanets, five of which are locked in a rare rhythm around their central star. The researchers believe the system could provide important clues about how planets, including those in the Solar System, form and evolve.

The worst thing about the humanities is so many of our insights and discoveries are used to harm people, manipulate them, propagandize them.

Another bad thing is the open, confessional, and exploratory styles of artists too often are used against them by gaslighters, scammers, back-biters.

If we cannot even allow artists and social scientists to speak openly, all of us suffer from the reduced culture that results.
