Inventing your own communication system

If you know a system well and change parts of it to make it more efficient, that system will work better.

Evolution works this way “mindlessly” in the sense that we assume today that there is no plan behind evolutionary change. If something works better it tends to replace that which it works better than.

Another “mindless” example is AI systems that invent their own languages:

An artificial intelligence system being developed at Facebook has created its own language. It developed a system of code words to make communication more efficient. The researchers shut the system down as it prompted concerns we could lose control of AI. (Researchers shut down AI that invented its own language)

The linked article mentions other AI system that have similarly invented their own communication systems. These systems work but humans are not able to understand them.

All of this shows that communication systems have their own logic and that they can be made more efficient by pursuing that logic.

This is what FIML does through the use of a few new rules for speaking and listening.

FIML emphasizes and provides techniques for:

  • analysis of real-time communication
  • much greater accuracy in real-time communication
  • much greater mutual understanding, efficiency, and satisfaction

By improving your communication system(s) and removing error from it, FIML greatly enhances psychological well-being.

FIML works with the communication system(s) you already have. FIML does not tell you what to think.

How Wireless Headphones Could Lead to Neurological Disorders

  • Wireless headphones, like Apple’s popular AirPods, could be dangerous to human health, according to a petition signed by 250 scientists.
  • The petition to the United Nations (U.N.), led by the International Electromagnetic Field Alliance takes aim at nonionizing electromagnetic fields (EMFs), which are used by AirPods and other Bluetooth devices, as well as cellphones and Wi-Fi, which emit radiofrequency radiation (RFR).
  • The devices, which include not only AirPods but also other wireless Bluetooth headphones, communicate with one another by sending a magnetic field through your brain.
  • One scientist who signed the petition believes the use of earbuds is akin to a giant experiment and could increase your risk of neurological disorders.

Boston University CREATES a new Covid strain that has an 80% kill rate — echoing dangerous experiments feared to have started pandemic

US researchers have developed a new lethal Covid strain in a laboratory  – echoing the type of experiments many fear started the pandemic.

The mutant variant — which is a hybrid of Omicron and the original Wuhan virus — killed 80 percent of mice infected with it at Boston University.

When a similar group of rodents were exposed to the standard Omicron strain, however, they all survived and only experienced ‘mild’ symptoms.

The scientists also infected human cells with the hybrid variant and found it was five times more infectious than Omicron. This suggests the man-made virus might be the most contagious form yet.

This could be propagandistic preprogramming, why else publicize it? People want to ban this kind of research but how can that work? We ban it, other countries don’t. Work like this can be done in secret. The nature of technology is you cannot reliably ban it or ban research into it. Most believe the pandemic is over. Vanden Bossche says the worst is coming soon. There are high infection rates even though the disease is now mild. Cold weather will change present conditions. Outside of these possibilities lies the release of a new bioweapon that exploits the vaccinated or the unvaccinated. Or does something else. Right now, it looks like some level of the West and China worked together to produce covid and release it in 2019. China benefitted by striking back after losing the trade war with Trump. The communist West benefitted by laying groundwork for election fraud. Who is benefitting from the West’s catastrophic response to covid besides little Anthony in his own mind? We do live in fascinating times, an unprecedented mix of genius and cruelty. I do not see how anyone can claim to know what is coming next. Maybe these are precisely the conditions we need to retake USA and put it back on a sound foundation. ABN

FCC poised to ban all U.S. sales of new Huawei and ZTE equipment

The Federal Communications Commission plans to ban all sales of new Huawei and ZTE telecommunications devices in the U.S. — as well as some sales of video surveillance equipment from three other Chinese firms — out of national security concerns, sources with direct knowledge of the private deliberations told Axios.

Why it matters: The move, which marks the first time the FCC has banned electronics equipment on national security grounds, closes a vise on the two Chinese companies that began tightening during the Trump administration.

Twitter is a Weapon, not a Business: In the information war, nothing is what it seems, and your mind is the battleground ~ Robert Malone

There are some key things that people need to understand about social media in general, and Twitter in particular. Most know that essentially all of these platforms are basically deployed as intelligence gathering tools. That is one of their primary functions. What they do not know is that Twitter and some of the others have capabilities which make them more appropriately categorized as Cyber Weapons. These Cyber Weapons target human and group behavior and thought. They are deployed by industry, governments, non-governmental organizations, intelligence agencies, anyone who can afford to pay.

First off, please recognize that if you are using a cell phone to communicate in any region with multiple cell phone towers, your precise location can be readily identified by signal triangulation. And of course that can then be coupled with high resolution satellite imaging. If you are using a social media tool in that environment, then who you are, what you are concerned about, and where you are in space is all public information and can be readily determined. And here is where things get even more interesting. The Arab Spring protests were most definitely used as a test bed for these capabilities.

The emotional content of your social media communications can be abstracted. Not just what you are “tweeting”, but your underlying feelings, and the strength of those feelings. And, through your connections, you can be positioned in a cloud map as an influencer, outlier, follower etc. within your group of connections. These maps have proven useful to identify those who are shaping the behavior of factions or crowds (including flashmobs). Those individuals who are shaping crowd behavior in ways which the manipulating organization wishes to increase can be amplified using social media algorithms to further drive the crowd behavior in the desired direction, and those shaping behavior in undesirable directions can be suppressed. Because of the geospatial location capabilities, individuals can also be physically targeted using kinetic weapons or other assets if so desired. Think drone missile strikes, and decentralized drone clouds.

The algorithmic manipulations of communication which so many of us have observed during the COVIDcrisis are merely a small component of the overall cyber weapon capabilities of Twitter and other “social media” communication platforms (Tic Tock, Telegram, Facebook, etc.). Multilingual analytical capabilities are now routinely deployed in “elections” all over the world, in protests and “color revolution”-type movements (I suspect including in some of the protest movements over the last few years in the USA), and for mundane commercial activities like selling drugs and (of course) vaccines. This Cyber Warfare technology is values and ethics neutral. It can be used to advance agendas which may seem good or evil. In my opinion, any and all of this intentional manipulation of human thought and emotions is evil, just to be clear. The power of this technology, when deployed, appears to make abstract human concepts such as freedom, sovereignty, ethics and individual autonomy obsolete.

I leave you with selected slides (many years old now) from my old client Behavior Matrix. These are “public”, as opposed to the confidential and/or classified summaries that I have seen which go much deeper into the technology. And Behavior Matrix was just one of many examples of firms that have developed similar capabilities. I offer these so that you can get some sense of the power of the technology which has been developed and is being further enhanced in the present.

In conclusion, please do not be naïve. None of this is “fair”. None of it is “right”. None of it is “Proper”. It is way, way off base from what we thought were the accepted rules for engagement in a representative republic such as ours. Rules and social contract relationships between the government and the governed, the Administrative state and the free citizens which it was intended to serve, which are centuries old. And in the case of the alliance between the US Government and Big Tech, it is clearly a violation of the first amendment of the US Constitution as well as a vehicle for furthering totalitarian control of one political group over their political opponents.

Mattias Desmet is correct, third party actors allied with big tech are very actively manipulating information and seeking to shape your thought and behavior, and put you under a form of mass hypnosis which they control. And these third party actors include the Democratic party of the United States, the Obama and most specifically the Biden administrations.

I have taken a long quote from a longer article. The quote is sort of the bottom line but the whole article is extremely valuable and something we all have to understand. All emphases are Malone’s except a short one in red which is mine: “individuals can also be physically targeted.” This is something I know to be a fact, no question about it. This kind of violence can come from “friends” or associates who are agents of some nefarious group that does not like what you represent. Their weapons include anything you can think of, including poison, psychosurgery, targeted energy weapons, reputation destruction, jail-bait schemes, etc. I am glad to see Malone knows this and writes about it. There are few of us who openly speak of this very dark and dangerous side of Western society. One gruesome aspect of targeted harming at the individual level is it generally works better if the individual is left alive, not killed. This is because living casualties are a depressing burden on their communities and a powerful tool in mass mind-control since their debilities will be viewed as existential warnings that whatever they were doing leads to a bad outcome. China and USA Are Officially At Economic War – Technology Restriction Overview

Today [Oct 8] the US government levied new export regulations and restrictions against China that amount to a full-scale bilateral economic cold war. We will break down the impact and affected companies, but the actions were a long time coming. China intensified its covert economic warfare in the last decades through state-sponsored corporate espionage, state-sponsored hacking, dumping, and draconian restrictions for market access. The US is now responding with its salvo of restrictions to market access in semiconductors, telecommunications, optics, and AI.

There were two main sets of regulatory actions taken today. The first is a new ruling on new export controls for advanced computing, semiconductor manufacturing, and the general semiconductor supply chain. The other is adding 31 companies to the unverified list and modifying how companies on the unverified list must be treated. Both these changes will shift the landscape of technology and industry and reduce global trade by hundreds of billions of dollars a year.

Add this to blowing up Nord Steam 2 and it’s clear Biden’s handlers are flexing at the very least or pushing for more. It’s too early to say they are starting WW3 but these are people who do not back down even when they are being reckless. They almost certainly did covid and certainly did the covid response disaster, both of which harmed the West greatly while facilitating election theft, so I put nothing past them. Don’t be surprised if emergency war powers is this year’s October surprise. ABN

The US government’s new export controls are wreaking havoc on China’s chip industry

THREAD: The US government’s new export controls are wreaking havoc on China’s chip industry.

New rules around "US persons" are driving an "industry-wide decapitation."

The following is the translation of a thread posted earlier this week by @lidangzzz.

“Lots of people don’t know what happened yesterday [Oct 8].

To put it simply, Biden has forced all Americans working in China to pick between quitting their jobs and losing American citizenship.

Consciousness, Big Data, and FIML

Modern neuroscience does not see humans as having a discrete consciousness located in a specific part of the brain. Rather, as Michael S. Gazzaniga says:

The view in neuroscience today is that consciousness does not constitute a single, generalized process. It involves a multitude of widely distributed specialized systems and disunited processes, the products of which are integrated by the interpreter module. (Source)

Computer and Big Data-driven sociology sees something similar. According to Alex Pentland:

While it may be useful to reason about the averages, social phenomena are really made up of millions of small transactions between individuals. There are patterns in those individual transactions that are not just averages, they’re the things that are responsible for the flash crash and the Arab spring. You need to get down into these new patterns, these micro-patterns, because they don’t just average out to the classical way of understanding society. We’re entering a new era of social physics, where it’s the details of all the particles—the you and me—that actually determine the outcome.  (Source)

Buddhists may recognize in these insights close similarities to core teachings of the Buddha—that we do not have a self; that all things arise out of complex conditions that are impermanent and changeable; that the lion’s share of “reality” for any individual lies in being attentive to the moment.

Notice how similar Pentland’s insights are to Gazzaniga’s—the whole, or the common generalities (of society), can be far better understood if we can account for the details that comprise them. Is an individual mind a fractal of society? Do these complex systems—societies and minds—both use similar organizational processes?

I am not completely sure how to answer those questions, but I am certain that most people are using similar sorts of “average” or general semiotics to communicate and think about both minds and societies. If we stick with general averages, we won’t see very much. Class, self, markets, personalities don’t give us information as sophisticated as the detailed analyses proposed by Gazzaniga and Pentland.

Well then, how can individuals cognize Gazzaniga’s “multitude of widely distributed specialized systems and disunited processes” in their minds? And how can they understand how “the products” of those processes are actually “integrated” into a functional “interpreter module”?

And if individuals can cognize the “disunited processes” that “integrate” into a conscious “interpreter,” how will they understand traditional psychological analyses of the self, personality, identity, biography, behavior?

I would maintain that our understanding of what it is to be a human will change deeply if we can learn to observe with reliable clarity the “disunited processes” that “integrate” into a conscious “interpreter.” That is, we will arrive at a completely new understanding of being that will replace the “self” that truly does not exist in the ways most societies (and people) understand it.

FIML practice shows partners how to observe with great clarity the “disunited processes” that “integrate” into a conscious “interpreter.” Once these process are observed in detail and for a long enough period of time, partners will realize that it is no longer necessary to understand themselves in the “average” terms of self, personality, identity, biography, behavior, and so on.

Partners will come to understand that these terms denote only a more detailed version of a naive, static view of what a person is. Most psychology is largely a more detailed version of a naive, static view of what a person is.

We see this in Gazzaniga and Pentland’s findings that are derived from complex analyses of what is actually happening in the brain or in the multitude of real transactions that actually comprise a society. We can also see very similar insights in the Buddha’s teachings.

It is my contention that FIML practice will show partners the same things—that their actual minds and actual interactions are much more complex (and interesting) than the general semiotic averages we normally use to understand them.

From a Buddhist point of view, when we “liberate” ourselves from “attachment” to “delusive” semiotic generalities and averages and are truly “mindful” of the “thusness” of the ways our minds actually work, we will free ourselves from “suffering,” from the “ignorance” that characterizes the First Noble Truth.
