Ep. 99 Aleksandr Dugin is the most famous political philosopher in Russia. His ideas are considered so dangerous, the Ukrainian government murdered his daughter and Amazon won’t sell his books. We talked to him in Moscow. pic.twitter.com/4LrO0Ufg9P
This interview is interesting and I appreciate Dugin’s perspective, but it also strikes me as simply intellectual decoration on the surface of a clandestine war which has been raging inside the West over the course of several generations. Everything is being destroyed not for transhumanism, which is real and yet also an excuse, but for totalitarian control of, first, the West and eventually Russia and the rest of the world. Control of the West has been seized through millions of acts of individual violence designed to shape society by disabling (usually not killing) promising young people, particularly young males. The West did not provoke the Ukraine War for transhumanism but as a step toward weakening Russia to eventually destroy and control whatever is left of it. ABN
On one occasion the Blessed One was living in the Deer Park at Isipatana (the Resort of Seers) near Varanasi (Benares). Then he addressed the group of five monks (bhikkhus):
“Monks, these two extremes ought not to be practiced by one who has gone forth from the household life. (What are the two?) There is addiction to indulgence of sense-pleasures, which is low, coarse, the way of ordinary people, unworthy, and unprofitable; and there is addiction to self-mortification, which is painful, unworthy, and unprofitable.
“Avoiding both these extremes, the Tathagata has realized the Middle Path; it gives vision, gives knowledge, and leads to calm, to insight, to enlightenment and to Nibbana. And what is that Middle Path realized by the Tathagata? It is the Noble Eightfold path, and nothing else, namely: right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right samadhi. This is the Middle Path realized by the Tathagata which gives vision, which gives knowledge, and leads to calm, to insight, to enlightenment, and to Nibbana.
“The Noble Truth of Suffering (dukkha), monks, is this: Birth is suffering, aging is suffering, sickness is suffering, death is suffering, association with the unpleasant is suffering, dissociation from the pleasant is suffering, not to receive what one desires is suffering — in brief the five aggregates subject to grasping are suffering.
“The Noble Truth of the Origin (cause) of Suffering is this: It is this craving (thirst) which produces re-becoming (rebirth) accompanied by passionate greed, and finding fresh delight now here, and now there, namely craving for sense pleasure, craving for existence and craving for non-existence (self-annihilation).
“The Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering is this: It is the complete cessation of that very craving, giving it up, relinquishing it, liberating oneself from it, and detaching oneself from it.
“The Noble Truth of the Path Leading to the Cessation of Suffering is this: It is the Noble Eightfold Path, and nothing else, namely: right understanding, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right concentration.
(I have taken the liberty of changing the translation of three of the elements of the Noble Eightfold Path. Of those three, I believe right samadhi is the most important. When samadhi is translated as concentration, it communicates poorly. Samadhi is the profound subjective experience of ‘ultimate reality’ or ‘Buddha nature’ or ‘cosmic consciousness’. Right samadhi is the subjective meditative experience that ties all of the Buddha’s teachings together. ABN)
Over the last dozen years I’ve published more than two hundred major articles totaling well over a million words, with the bulk of these having been produced during the last six years and roughly two-thirds of them included in my American Pravda series.
Most of these individual pieces have developed or promoted analyses of events that are radically divergent from what is presented by our mainstream media and standard history books. Taken a whole, this body of work constitutes a sweeping historical counter-narrative, possibly larger and more extensive that what could be found elsewhere on the Internet, or at least I’m not aware of anything comparable.
This enormous creation has relied very heavily upon the previous work of numerous researchers and writers. These have ranged from the most highly-credentialed and respectable figures to individuals of the conspiratorial fringe, and those two categories have sometimes changed places over the decades.
Although the sources I used were always cited, quoted, and linked in the individual articles, over the years many readers have requested that I provide a complete bibliography. Given that my own work has depended so heavily on this underlying material, I have now done that, spending several days gathering together all of these references into a single comprehensive bibliography, while also adding bibliographic links nears the bottom of each individual article.
Listed below are well over 600 books plus a couple of dozen films, documentaries, and major videos, all grouped by article in chronological order. Given this display format, probably about one-third of these items are duplicates.
Nearly all my articles are available in a couple of dozen freely downloadable ebooks, about half of them representing collections, and these are also listed below. About a dozen of these collections are available in hard-copy format from Amazon.
You definitely want to bookmark this one. It’s a large compendium of Unz’s work, almost all of which is well-worth reading. I do not always agree with Ron (he took the covid vax and dissed those who didn’t), but he is always worth reading and usually provides a unique perspective on whatever the issue is. I also like that he gives his work away and does not overly hype it. ABN
This is a very good and enjoyable video on evolution, northeastern American forests, and how parasitism generally evolves into symbiosis. I hope and pray that the parasites who now riddle Western civilization and all of its major institutions will watch this video and learn from it. ABN
Privileged progressives, donning their white knight armor, are in the next phase of a plan to end Seattle Public Schools’ gifted students program — known locally as its highly capable cohort (HCC). They complained the HCC was too white.
HCC separates academically gifted students from others via different classrooms or entirely different schools. But in 2020, white Seattle school board directors voted to terminate the HCC over the objections of parents. HCC will be completely phased out by the 2027-28 school year.
Outraged more by the success of white and Asian students than by the untapped potential of Black and Hispanic pupils, progressives would rather drag achievers down than elevate everyone…
What is replacing the gifted highly capable cohort program?
The “whole-classroom model” is replacing HCC and be implemented in each classroom starting in the 2024-25 school year. It’s unworkable.
Under the model, classrooms will include students of all different learning abilities. A teacher is supposed to address each group of students, in classrooms with 20-30 students, with no additional resources and limited new training. How does a teacher create individualized programs for so many students with disparate needs? It’s not likely that a teacher can help a student who can barely read while simultaneously challenging a classmate who is reading two advanced books a week.
“On a recent day in a first grade classroom, seven advanced learners sat on the floor reading silently on their iPads. Several others wrote independently at their desks. A special education student wrote with a paraprofessional aide at their side. The rest of the class sat in a front corner of the classroom while the teacher read a book out loud.”
The ‘whole-classroom’ model is a guaranteed fail. It is extremely basic pedagogy that students of like ability be placed in classrooms together. If there are large gaps in talent between students, the talented will be bored and the less talented will feel discouraged. Or you will get the outcome italicized and highlighted above. ‘Gifted’ classes were designed to prevent that outcome. ABN
Solve Human Intelligence, And Then Solve All The Other Problems
We are on the cusp of a new era in which we acquire the capability to augment our biological intelligence and take over our own evolution. Forget the “3-5 years away” timelines previously advanced by Razib Khan and Charles Murray. Embryo selection for IQ will become publicly available in 2025, opening up the possibility of 6-7 IQ point increases with every subsequent generation. And that’s just with the standard IVF cycles of ten embryos. More speculative but scientifically grounded approaches in the pipeline such as embryo genetic editing, adult gene therapy, iterated embryo selection, and synthetic embryos open up the possibility of multiple S.D. increases in polygenic IQ scores by the 2030s, and the appearance of young men and women much smarter than anybody who has ever lived as early as the 2050s.
In this essay, I will briefly outline the basics of intelligence research, and its importance with respect to individual life success, national wellbeing, and the long-term prospects of our civilization. I will then make make the case for radical human intelligence enhancement across all three of those levels. I will then survey public attitudes towards intelligence enhancement, outline the business case for the noocelerationist space, and conclude with an overview of my own plans for Sophia DAO and how you can get involved.
“The finest trick of the devil is to persuade you that he does not exist,” wrote Charles Baudelaire (Paris Spleen). He was wrong: the devil’s finest trick is to persuade you that he is God.
Do I believe in the existence of the devil? It depends on the definition. I believe that humans are under the influence of the ideas that they have collectively engendered over the ages, for ideas are spiritual forces. And from that standpoint, I regard Yahweh’s impersonation of the Divine Creator as the most devastating deception ever played on the human race, a crime against divinity.
Am I a Gnostic? Not in the strict sense. If we are to believe their detractors, the early Gnostics taught that the God of the Old Testament was the evil demiurge who created the world from which Christ came to free us. I do not take Yahweh that seriously. On the contrary, I lament that he has been taken seriously by billions of people, Jews, Christians and Muslims. Yahweh is a character of fiction, but one that has gained tremendous influence over a huge portion of mankind, either directly or indirectly.
What I wish to demonstrate here is that Yahweh has the character of the devil as most people imagine it. That goes a long way towards explaining the satanic quality of Jewish Power that is becoming more and more apparent every day—a quality that Alain Soral is exposing in his most recent videos (now avalaible with English subtitles on the new ERTV International YouTube channel). If I were a Christian, I would quote John 8:44. But I am not arguing from a Christian viewpoint, for although I accept the principle that the Gospel story was designed as a cure for the Jews’ mental enslavement by the Torah, I also consider that, unless it could vomit the Old Testament, Christianity will remain forever infected by the virus it was intended to combat.
In the sutras, jhāna is entered when one ‘sits down cross-legged and establishes mindfulness’. According to Buddhist tradition, it may be supported by ānāpānasati, mindfulness of breathing, a core meditative practice which can be found in almost all schools of Buddhism. The Suttapiṭaka and the Agamas describe four stages of rūpa jhāna. Rūpa refers to the material realm, in a neutral stance, as different from the kāma-realm (lust, desire) and the arūpa-realm (non-material realm).[33] While interpreted in the Theravada-tradition as describing a deepening concentration and one-pointedness, originally the jhānas seem to describe a development from investigating body and mind and abandoning unwholesome states, to perfected equanimity and watchfulness,[34] an understanding which is retained in Zen and Dzogchen.[35][34] The stock description of the jhānas, with traditional and alternative interpretations, is as follows:[34][note 2]
First jhāna:Separated (vivicceva) from desire for sensual pleasures, separated (vivicca) from [other] unwholesome states (akusalehi dhammehi, unwholesome dhammas[36]), a bhikkhu enters upon and abides in the first jhana, which is [mental] pīti (“rapture,” “joy”) and [bodily] sukha (“pleasure”) “born of viveka” (traditionally, “seclusion”; alternatively, “discrimination” (of dhamma’s)[37][note 3]), accompanied by vitarka-vicara (traditionallly, initial and sustained attention to a meditative object; alternatively, initial inquiry and subsequent investigation[40][41][42] of dhammas (defilements[43] and wholesome thoughts[44][note 4]); also: “discursive thought”[note 5]).
Second jhāna:Again, with the stilling of vitarka-vicara, a bhikkhu enters upon and abides in the second jhana, which is [mental] pīti and [bodily] sukha “born of samadhi” (samadhi-ji; trad. born of “concentration”; altern. “knowing but non-discursive […] awareness,”[6] “bringing the buried latencies or samskaras into full view”[52][note 6]), and has sampasadana (“stillness,”[53] “inner tranquility”[50][note 7]) and ekaggata (unification of mind,[53] awareness) without vitarka-vicara;
Third jhāna:With the fading away of pīti, a bhikkhu abides in upekkhā (equanimity,” “affective detachment”[50][note 8]), sato (mindful) and [with] sampajañña (“fully knowing,”[54] “discerning awareness”[55]). [Still] experiencing sukha with the body, he enters upon and abides in the third jhana, on account of which the noble ones announce, “abiding in [bodily] pleasure, one is equanimous and mindful”.
Fourth jhāna:With the abandoning of [the desire for] sukha (“pleasure”) and [aversion to] dukkha (“pain”[56][55]) and with the previous disappearance of [the inner movement between] somanassa (“gladness,”[57]) and domanassa (“discontent”[57]), a bhikkhu enters upon and abides in the fourth jhana, which is adukkham asukham (“neither-painful-nor-pleasurable,”[56] “freedom from pleasure and pain”[58]) and has upekkhāsatipārisuddhi (complete purity of equanimity and mindfulness).[note 9]
This excerpt comes from the Wikipedia entry on samadhi, which is really very good and worth reading in full. This entry and the description just above are detailed descriptions of meditative states which lead to full enlightenment in Buddhist and other traditions that revere samadhi states. This deep capacity of the human mind to realize enlightenment through directed concentration is all but nonexistent in modern Western thought, a momentous omission. In the Nagara Sutta, the Buddha refers to the Noble Eightfold Path, the last element of which is samadhi, as ancient, showing that Buddhism and other samadhi traditions date back millennia before the time of the Buddha, roughly 500 BC. Buddhism is a deep Indo-Aryan tradition and as such has roots shared by ancient Greece, Egypt, and Rome as well as India and most of Asia. I believe it is helpful to recognize the antiquity of samadhi and jhāna practices as well as the civilizations associated with these practices which still exist today. In this respect, Buddhism is an extremely old and pristine core tradition belonging directly to most of the world’s peoples via tradition and indirectly to all of them via efficacy and reasonableness. UPDATE: Just finished watching this. It’s a terrific discussion, very informative. Don’t miss it! Essential for understanding what the basic banking/ economic problem in USA is, how to fix it, and why Central Bank Digital Currency will be a disaster for everyone except the central bankers who will control everything. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

All of our institutions are infested with parasites who steal as they destroy. This is a fact. All political reasoning must start with this fact and no other. ABN
Players get either a good role (villager) or a bad role (werewolf). The Werewolves secretly choose someone to “kill.” Then all the players discuss and vote on who they think the werewolves are. The player with the most votes gets “killed” (out of the game).
If all the werewolves are caught (villagers win) or if the werewolves outnumber the villagers (werewolves win).
The werewolves often win because they have the ability to manipulate the villagers psychologically. They start with hidden identities, allowing them to sow doubt and suspicion among the villagers. The fear of being targeted by werewolves can lead to paranoia and mistrust among the villagers, making it easier for the werewolves to blend in and manipulate the discussion. Plus, the uncertainty of not knowing who to trust can cause villagers to make rash decisions or second-guess their instincts, further playing into the werewolves’ hands. Overall, the psychological aspect of fear, doubt, and mistrust contributes significantly to the werewolves’ success in the game.
Those in power are using this exact psychological manipulation to collaborate with each other and deceive the masses effectively.
This game is crucial to real-world epistemology. It explains why elites virtually always win (in the end). It explains why democracy is a fantasy at best and why we can never expect anything approaching perfect knowledge in the public sphere. When you add to this game the pressure put on elites by the KOBK game, you will have a good understanding of why elites behave as they do and why this world is such a savage place at both the bottom and the top. Maybe somewhere in the middle sometimes it is not so bad; for example, the West between 1950-2001. ABN
