This is a member of the Western elite I can support. His speech was given one year ago today. I would imagine any progress he has made would be quiet. We do not need this level of control to come from government.
If employers want to fire someone for what they said, that’s fine with me.
But mere hate speech alone is not now and never should become illegal.
I do not like people mocking Kirk’s death or saying he deserved it but none of that is illegal.
Society and interpersonal relations, including employment, can deal with people who hated Kirk or anyone else.

Hate speech that crosses the line into threats of violence is NOT protected by the First Amendment. It’s a crime. For far too long, we’ve watched the radical left normalize threats, call for assassinations, and cheer on political violence. That era is over.
Under 18 U.S.C. § 875(c), it is a federal crime to transmit “any communication containing any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another.” Likewise, 18 U.S.C. § 876 and 18 U.S.C. § 115 make it a felony to threaten public officials, members of Congress, or their families.
You cannot call for someone’s murder. You cannot swat a Member of Congress. You cannot dox a conservative family and think it will be brushed off as “free speech.” These acts are punishable crimes, and every single threat will be met with the full force of the law.
Free speech protects ideas, debate, even dissent but it does NOT and will NEVER protect violence.
It is clear this violent rhetoric is designed to silence others from voicing conservative ideals.
We will never be silenced. Not for our families, not for our freedoms, and never for Charlie. His legacy will not be erased by fear or intimidation.

The Trump administration is collecting data on all Americans, and they are enlisting the data analysis company Palantir to do it.
The New York Timesreports that President Trump has enlisted the firm, founded by far-right billionaire Peter Thiel, to carry out his March executive order instructing government agencies to share data with each other. The order has increased fears that the government is putting together a database to wield surveillance powers over the American public.
Since then, the administration has been very quiet about these efforts, increasing suspicion. Meanwhile, Palantir has taken more than $113 million in government spending since Trump took office, from both existing contracts and new ones with the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. That number is expected to grow, especially given that the firm just won a new $795 million contract with the DOD last week.
Palantir is speaking with various other agencies across the federal government, including the Social Security Administration and the IRS, about buying its technology, according to the Times. Palantir’s Foundry tool, which analyzes and organizes data, is already being used at the DHS, the Department of Health and Human Services, and at least two other agencies, allowing the White House to compile data from different places.

Spying on everyone and killing anyone you deem to be a threat for whatever reason you like is the ultimate Kill-Or-Be-Killed (KOBK) move. This is where we are headed.
KOBK game theory is primarily a military game theory. It covers the psychology, morality, aims, and methods of players who are involved in any sort of power struggle. Its main premise is that players in KOBK conflicts, by definition, do not know for certain how powerful they are vis-a-vis their adversaries or how powerful their adversaries are. Moreover they do not know for certain the aims, motivations, and/or methods of their adversaries.
These conditions force all adversaries to kill-or-be-killed. They must kill their adversary or be killed by them. Kill does not necessarily mean death. It just means to render their adversary provably powerless. Joe Biden was ousted as a presidential candidate against his will. In the KOBK sense, he was ‘killed’.
The more paranoid and crazy the KOBK players are, the more dangerous they are to themselves and others. This flap all but certainly proves there is real division between elite factions in USA. Trump and the activist judges, including Roberts, are not on the same side. What the judges are doing looks amateur. They lack not only a professional sense of public imaging but also good reason to do what they are doing. One can only assume they are desperate to prevent exposure of something even worse than massive corruption throughout the government.
