The War of Economic Corridors has entered incandescent, uncharted territory: Pipeline Terror.
A sophisticated military operation – that required exhaustive planning, possibly involving several actors – blew up four separate sections of the Nord Stream (NS) and Nord Stream 2 (NS2) gas pipelines this week in the shallow waters of the Danish straits, in the Baltic Sea, near the island of Bornholm.
Swedish seismologists estimated that the power of the explosions may have reached the equivalent of up to 700 kg of TNT. Both NS and NS2, near the strong currents around Borholm, are placed at the bottom of the sea at a depth of 60 meters.

Setting aside his brief comments on the recent "referendums", he spends most of his speech discussing the West. His primary complaint isn't NATO expansion, which gets only a cursory mention. The West is greedy and seeks to enslave and colonise other nations, like Russia.
The West uses the power of finance and technology to enforce its will on other nations. To collect what he calls the "hegemon's tax". To this end the West destabilises countries, creates terrorist enclaves and most of all seeks to deprive other countries of sovereignty.
It is this “avarice” and desire to preserve its power that is the reason for the “hybrid war” the collective West is “waging on Russia”. They want us to be a “colony”. They do not want us to be free, they want Russians to be a mob of soulless slaves – direct quote.

Following reports on Tuesday that the Nord Stream pipelines traveling across the Baltic Sea were leaking, with European officials pointing to sabotage as the likely reason, former President Donald Trump called for a negotiated deal to get done, and for American leaders to remain “calm.”
“US ‘Leadership’ should remain ‘cool, calm, and dry’ on the SABOTAGE of the Nord Stream Pipelines,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
“This is a big event that should not entail a big solution, at least not yet. The Russia/Ukraine catastrophe should NEVER have happened, and would definitely not have happened if I were President.”

Earlier, the Kremlin said that it was most likely about sabotage.
The same opinion was expressed in the German government.
It is reasonably suspected that the pipeline was blown up by the special services of Britain or the United States in order to finally close the issue of gas supplies to Germany and complete its full economic vassalization.

This is almost certainly an act of war. Who done it is about as knowable as who released covid from which lab. Or who is responsible for the West’s disastrous covid response. These Nord Stream leaks taken in context of the past six months are moving in a straight line toward WW3. I doubt this war will be as simple as West vs Russia. Nyquist believes today’s Russia is “the Soviet Union (SU) rebranded” and that the SU formed a pact with China’s CCP before its dissolution in 1991; their aim was to obtain wealth and technology from the West before attacking it with nuclear weapons, which they are preparing to do soon (probably). I believe this is an unlikely analysis but interesting nonetheless. It is good to listen to Nyquist because he understands that nuclear war is more probable than most Westerners think. I myself believe the greatest foreign policy mistake in the world is the West’s failure to form an alliance with Russia or at least very good relations. A deep underlying cause of this failure may be what Nyquist says. Or it may be our own Western cabal itself is hellbent on destroying Russia and China.
