NCHS MMWR Week 26 Update

Nothing demonstrates the data withholding on the part of the NCHS/CDC than the lack of Cancer Death ICD-10 data.

A one can see, CDC is withholding 217 days of cancer data in particular, and have been doing so for the last 6 weeks.

This data withholding also hits the 'What the hell is this?' chart.

Thus we make a provisional calc to fill in the gap based upon this datum's last momentum when the CDC stopped reporting.

296,800 young people have died of something unknown since MMWR Week 14 2021.

The CDC/NCHS is citing that their system automation won't allow the last 31 weeks of data to enter the new system fully.

Both Wonder and MMWR?

I've upgraded dozens of mission-critical systems in my day …something is not right here, procedurally as well as ethically.

~60 K+ deaths are simply absent from the system.

This absence just happens to hit Cancer and Natural Cause Non-Covid death categories the hardest in terms of missing records.

This suggests that those records are being scrutinized very hard.
