A series of deaths of their candidates in a local election in North-Rhine Westphalia have shaken the German right-wing populist party AfD.
While originally AfD reported four deaths that all occurred during the same local election campaign, the party has now announced two more.
According to Politico, two reserve list candidates have also died.
Due to the deaths, ballot papers have to be reprinted and successors appointed, and several mail-in ballots are now invalid.
The odds of these deaths being deliberate acts of covert war is very high. Covert military assaults are more often done to debilitate with poison, sensory damage or psychosurgery. Killing these candidates is most likely aimed at sending a message to others. In support of this supposition, consider everything else that has been happening in Germany and Europe. Almost all of it is aimed at the destruction of Europe, and Germany, Europe’s most powerful nation. ABN
