Ogilvie is currently in serious condition in the hospital, having lost his left eye and suffering extensive wounds to his face, neck, and back during an assault described by witnesses as an attempted beheading.
The attacker, Hadi Alodid, a 30-year-old Sudanese national, was arrested at the scene and charged with attempted murder, possession of a knife, and making threats to kill.
