‘Huge risk’ of Christmas attacks, warns EU
There is a “huge risk of terrorist attacks in the European Union” over the coming holiday season, a senior EU official has said.
European Home Affairs Commission Ylva Johansson said the polarisation in society caused by the Israel-Hamas war was increasing the risk of violence.
Her remarks came days after a tourist was fatally stabbed in Paris.
The EU was making an additional €30m (£26m) available for additional security, Ms Johansson said.
She did not specify whether there was any specific information which had led to the warning.
“We saw it recently in Paris, unfortunately we have seen it earlier as well,” she added ahead of a meeting of EU interior ministers.

Mongolian sky turns blood red — very rare Aurora Borealis
In an extraordinary celestial display, the skies over Mongolia turned deep, blood-red as the country experienced one of the rarest auroral events on Friday and early Saturday.
…This particular shade of red is considered the most uncommon colour of the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis and its appearance is closely linked to periods of intense solar activity.
The ongoing solar storm responsible for this event was the result of multiple coronal mass ejections (CMEs) from the Sun, which occurred on November 27, 2023. These CMEs sent a barrage of high-energy particles hurtling towards Earth, with the first wave reaching our planet late on November 29.
The red auroras are a consequence of these solar particles colliding with oxygen molecules at higher altitudes. At such great heights, the density of oxygen is lower, and the collisions occur less frequently, resulting in the emission of red light rather than the more common green. This process is akin to the way neon lights operate, with excited gas atoms releasing photons of light when they return to their ground state.
Historically, red auroras have been documented during some of the most powerful geomagnetic storms, such as the Carrington Event of 1859, which remains the most intense solar storm on record. During that event, red auroras were reported as far south as the Caribbean and Mexico, with the skies so bright that birds began to sing, mistaking the illuminated night for morning.
The occurrence of the red aurora in Mongolia has provided scientists with a unique opportunity to study the effects of solar storms at lower latitudes. 1 security guard killed, 1 hurt in stabbing at Macy’s in Philadelphia: Police
One security guard was killed and another was injured in a stabbing attack at a Macy’s department store in Philadelphia on Monday morning, authorities said.
The incident began at about 10:45 a.m. when a man tried to steal hats from Macy’s in Center City, Philadelphia police said at a news conference. Security stopped the man, and after a “confrontation,” police said, the security officer “backs off, gets the merchandise back, allows the male to go on.”
About 15 minutes later, the man returned to the location and attacked two security guards with a knife, police said.
One of the security guards, a 30-year-old man, was stabbed in the neck and died at the hospital at 11:19 a.m., police said, calling it a “tragic situation.”
Study shows Salton Sea has world’s largest lithium supply
A California lake could sit on top of a ‘white gold’ mine after a federally funded study found the Salton Sea has the world’s largest lithium supply.
The Department of Energy (DOE) shared the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory results, which determined the underground pool could hold 18 million tons – enough to meet the US’s demand for the valuable metal for decades.
One ton of lithium is currently priced at $29,000, making the supply in the Salton Sea worth more than $540 billion.
While the Salton Sea has long been known to hold lithium, this is the first analysis to show the extent of the supply, which the DOE said could support over 375 million electric vehicle batteries.

What the Whistleblower Data Tells Us About the New Zealand Ministry of Health
…The whistleblower was in the position that many people holding positions of responsibility in New Zealand now find themselves. We believe he acted responsibly because he disclosed very concerning information that the Ministry of Health has been withholding from public view.
We have unprecedented record high rates of excess deaths and hospitalisation which are continuing long past the peaks of Covid infection yet virtually no one among the media, the medical profession, and the government wants to talk about it. Instead, they are conspiring (yes, I do mean to use the term and don’t do so lightly) to hide the figures that will demonstrate the exact extent of COVID-19 vaccine harm.
This is all the more concerning since a rapidly growing number of recently published scientific papers we have been regularly reporting are pointing to a wide range of long term mRNA Covid harms including heart disease and immune deficiency, cancers, strokes and mental illness.
The message that most resonated with me during the interview was the heartfelt plea from the whistleblower for others to speak up. I encourage all those with inside knowledge to speak up if you haven’t already done so. We can’t continue with the disastrous censorship of health information enforced by the previous government. The health and longevity of the whole population is at stake.

COP28 Craziness: EU Chief Demands ‘Trillions’ for Green Agenda at U.N. Climate Summit
The European Union appears undeterred by years of calamitous climate policies, with EU Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen demanding new taxes and other schemes to take green agenda investment into the “trillions”.
Leaders from around the world descended (many of whom on private jets) upon the oil-rich Arabian nation of Dubai for the 28th instalment of the United Nation’s top annual climate summit, in which politicians demand that ordinary citizens bankroll their lofty visions of a so-called green future.
Despite people suffering across Europe under an energy crisis as a result of the war in Ukraine and the years of dumping money into dubious ‘renewable’ energy sources, EU Chief Ursula von der Leyen’s takeaway was to double down on the very same policies that precipitated Europe’s precarious energy situation.
“More is needed,” the German politician urged, proclaiming: “We have to move from billions to trillions.”
The EU leader admitted that to accomplish such a goal, Brussels will need to “find new sources of revenue”. To do so, von der Leyen said that she “fully supports” the plan proposed by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron to impose a global green tax targeting financial transactions to “raise more money for climate action.”
