The political response to the crisis at the southern border continues to advance the bipartisan “smart wall,” having been backed by Trump and Biden alike. This bipartisan consensus reaches far beyond the US, as much of the world is similarly speeding along in implementing “digital borders.”

The disastrous situation at the US-Mexico border is, and has been, intentionally produced. Throughout the last several administrations, regardless of campaign and other public rhetoric, the porous nature of the border has remained unresolved. On several occasions, the situation as it has developed has been blamed largely on incompetence and government inefficiency. Though some administrations have been tougher than others in regards to terrestrial migration (under some metrics), the US-Mexico border has not been sealed off so to force entrants to cross through officially recognized and managed ports of entry.

Under the current administration, it has been pointedly obvious that even the sections of the border that do contain physical barriers are being dismantled on purpose, all the while illegal crossings have risen to unprecedented levels. Whatever the motives for this deliberate policy on the part of the Biden administration, the end result has been the widespread characterization of the crisis as an “invasion,” priming the voter bloc usually most concerned with border security – the American Right – for military-style “solutions.”

While the justifications for the frenzied media coverage are based on the actual reality that the border is indeed highly insecure (and has been for some time), the policy responses from American politicians reveal that there is a bipartisan consensus about what must be done. Tellingly, the same “solution” is also being quietly rolled out at all American ports of entry that are not currently being “overrun”, such as airports. That solution, of course, is biometric surveillance, enabled by AI, facial recognition/biometrics and autonomous devices.

This is an excellent article. It outlines the major goals, actors, and popular fears of the inevitable global surveillance state. What we the people have—and the only thing we have—is the vague will of the masses. With that vague will we can sometimes cancel elite plans or dampen them, as we saw with monkeypox and more recently covid vaxxes.

Our vague will, however, has zero chance of stopping the panopticon, or any of the technology that supports it. Since we the people have never had much more than a vague will which is only rarely successful in doing anything, I see no reason to be especially concerned about an even more efficient spy state. We already all know and have accepted that all of our communications are recorded, so why should we expect the recording to not become even more precise and used for even more controls?

For millennia, large societies have always had kings and queens, elites and slaves. It is no different today. May the best elite win. The only secure hope we have today is that a deeply civilized, very intelligent elite who will rule benevolently, will win. In a reasonable world under a reasonable elite, continued tech advancement and the use of technology to improve human biology will yield a much more intelligent population with more and better options than we have today.

Does this mean surrender? Yes and no: no one surrenders to the inevitable, or everyone does; and the vague will of the masses will act as a weak rudder sometimes. ABN

  • He found then-18-year-old Drew Clinton guilty of sexual assaulting 16-year-old Cameron Vaughan during a May 2021 graduation party
  • However, at sentencing, he overturned the conviction saying the boy had served ‘plenty’ of time behind bars

How totalitarian reform actually works

Valuable historic footage of the CCP’s Land Reform (1949-1953). This is how it was done:

  1. Send out a “work team” to villages to “help” the peasants to understand that exploitation of the rich was the root of their poverty and suffering. (DEI training?)
  2. Mobilize the poor  
  3. Coach them on how to “tell their bitterness” (诉苦 or lived experience) against the landlords  
  4. Hold “ struggle sessions” to denounce the landlords as the “enemy of the people”. Note there were a lot of women activists.  
  5. Let the people decide the punishment. In the video the people spoke: execution!  
  6. Confiscate the land from the landlords and give it to the poor

Happy ending for the poor?

Not so fast. In 1958 all the land was taken back by the state through collectivization. Between 1959-1962, up to 50 million perished during the Great Famine.

This is a story of Communist dream turned into hellish nightmare. And history rhymes, doesn’t it?

China followed a path to totalitarian control similar to the Soviet Union and other communist regimes. In Russia, Bolsheviks went into villages with the goal of killing a predetermined percentage (10-15% or more) of their populations. This was done to wipe out natural leaders in order to eliminate all viable opposition. These public murders also terrorized the people who were not killed. In Russia, the mass murderers were primarily non-Russians who hated Russians and were envious of them. In China, the mass murderers were typically Chinese from other parts of China who were filled with ideological hatred. Throughout the West, we are seeing a softer version of this playing out today. Kill-Or-Be-Killed (KOBK) game theory demands elites be savagely competitive, both internally and externally. Importing non-American mercenaries is all but demanded by KOBK rules. It is always important to think from the point of view of those in control. If they pull back, they will lose everything, often including their lives. We should always expect and plan for elites to be utterly vicious and to benefit and protect themselves above all else. Illuminating insight into early Christianity

Your paper illustrates the principle that in order to properly understand Christianity one must understand what Jesus actually taught. This requires that we focus on the earliest period of Christianity.

Your paper presents no conclusions about the Arian controversy and implies that the issue remains muddled even today. In my opinion, this is incorrect.

FYI, I am going to briefly summarize the Arian controversy as I understand it. I believe the controversy arose out of the church’s “need” to declare its institutional authority over Christians.

In the first centuries, there were many varieties of Christians, everything from Jewish Christian sects that continued to stress the importance of Jewish Law to gnostic Christians who in my opinion preserved the esoteric core of what Jesus actually taught. Soon after the Council of Nicaea, many of the various iterations (including the gnostics) came under fierce attack by the Roman church.

The roots of the Arian controversy date to the second century when certain theologians deviated from Jesus’ teaching about the immortality of the soul, i.e., immanence. Tatian was one of these, and he was followed by Gregory of Nysa, St Jerome, and Augustine. Each of whom added another brick to the new artificial construct. All of them taught that the soul is created from lowly dust along with the body at conception or birth.

The controversy ignited when a Libyan priest named Arius pointed out the flaw in the church’s new teaching. At issue was the human versus divine nature of Jesus. Arius merely pointed out that by this reasoning the soul of the God-realized avatar Jesus must likewise have been made of lowly dust. This was a problem because it meant that at some point in time the soul of Jesus did not exist. It followed that Jesus, while exalted, could not be on an equal footing with God the father.

Athanasius led the orthodox contingent at Nicaea. He insisted on the absolute equivalence of Father and Son. Even though a vast majority of Christians supported Arius, the anti-Arian bishops held a majority in Council and ruled in favor of Athanasius. No surprise that Arius was condemned as a heretic.

Athanasius gets credit for the new doctrine of the Trinity that emerged from Nicaea. The Trinity idea was not based on Scripture, however, nor divine revelation, but solely on logic. Given the equivalence of Father and Son, the Holy Spirit could not be left out, so its inclusion became a logical necessity. From its inception, the Trinity doctrine was and remains a purely artificial construct.

Despite the ruling, Arianism continued to be very popular because by affirming the humanity of Jesus Arius held out hope for ordinary people. Implicit in Arianism is the gnostic belief that ordinary Christians can follow in the footsteps of the savior. The views of Arius were perfectly compatible with the teaching of immanence, the indwelling of God in all of creation.

The real issue at the heart of the controversy, as the writer Elizabeth Claire Prophet has pointed out, was not the denial of the divinity of Jesus (as the church contended at Niceae and as the Catholic Church still contends) but instead the question: “How is man to be saved? By emulating Jesus? Or by worshipping him?” Today, the Catholic Church emphasizes worship (and obedience) when it should be inspiring Christians (as Jesus did) to pursue sainthood.

The personal triumph of Athanasius at the council was a hollow victory. By scapegoating Arius, the church only magnified its original error of embracing a doctrine of the soul that repudiates the divine presence in all matter.

By asserting the equivalence of Father and Son the church was in effect declaring that the soul of Jesus was different in kind from the souls of ordinary people. This was fateful because it undermined the mystical element in Jesus’ own teachings, and opened up a vast gulf between God and humans.

The new Catholic Encyclopedia clearly states the extent of this chasm: “Between Creator and creature there is the most profound distinction possible. God is not part of this world. He is not just the peak of reality. Between God and the world there is an abyss…”

The abyss was wholly artificial, the creation of the church, yet it was also a self-serving artifice, a means for institutional Christianity to vastly increase its earthly power. Today, Catholic doctrine holds that the church is the sole bridge over the otherwise unbridgeable chasm between God and men.

I would go another step and also argue that the outcome of Niceae was a serious devolution, a step back toward Judaism and the absolute patriarchal rule of the angry jealous god Yaweh. It appears that Christianity was undermined from within by church fathers bent on maintaining control over Christians. To me this smacks of psychopathy at work, namely, the Jewish revolutionary spirit.

The definition or redefinition of words and concepts shows the profound importance of the human psycholinguistic complex or constellation. Changing just a few words or definitions can impact many centuries of human history. We can see many changes in our psycholinguistics today, almost all of which are imposed on our communities without our consent or understanding. Why elites are always able to win — The Werewolf Game

This blew my mind when I heard about it.

The Werewolf Party Game rules goes as follows:

Players get either a good role (villager) or a bad role (werewolf). The Werewolves secretly choose someone to “kill.” Then all the players discuss and vote on who they think the werewolves are. The player with the most votes gets “killed” (out of the game).

If all the werewolves are caught (villagers win) or if the werewolves outnumber the villagers (werewolves win).

The werewolves often win because they have the ability to manipulate the villagers psychologically. They start with hidden identities, allowing them to sow doubt and suspicion among the villagers. The fear of being targeted by werewolves can lead to paranoia and mistrust among the villagers, making it easier for the werewolves to blend in and manipulate the discussion. Plus, the uncertainty of not knowing who to trust can cause villagers to make rash decisions or second-guess their instincts, further playing into the werewolves’ hands. Overall, the psychological aspect of fear, doubt, and mistrust contributes significantly to the werewolves’ success in the game.

Those in power are using this exact psychological manipulation to collaborate with each other and deceive the masses effectively.

This game is crucial to real-world epistemology. It explains why elites virtually always win (in the end). It explains why democracy is a fantasy at best and why we can never expect anything approaching perfect knowledge in the public sphere. When you add to this game the pressure put on elites by the KOBK game, you will have a good understanding of why elites behave as they do and why this world is such a savage place at both the bottom and the top. And what is Right Concentration?

[i] Here, the monk, detached from sense-desires, detached from unwholesome states, enters and remains in the first jhana (level of concentration, Sanskrit: dhyāna), in which there is applied and sustained thinking, together with joy and pleasure born of detachment;
[ii] And through the subsiding of applied and sustained thinking, with the gaining of inner stillness and oneness of mind, he enters and remains in the second jhana, which is without applied and sustained thinking, and in which there are joy and pleasure born of concentration;
[iii] And through the fading of joy, he remains equanimous, mindful and aware, and he experiences in his body the pleasure of which the Noble Ones say: “equanimous, mindful and dwelling in pleasure”, and thus he enters and remains in the third jhana;
[iv] And through the giving up of pleasure and pain, and through the previous disappearance of happiness and sadness, he enters and remains in the fourth jhana, which is without pleasure and pain, and in which there is pure equanimity and mindfulness.

This is called Right Concentration.

This is a description of the first four states of Buddhist meditation or ‘concentration’, as it is often translated. The right Buddhist term is Right Samadhi. What is meant in this description is very clear. It is pure religious practice, the essence of prayer and contemplation. It is that which leads to the ‘presence of God’ in Christian mysticism. It is communion with the Divine, the transcendent Big Consciousness that underlies and oversees our small consciousnesses. The Buddha taught a path of ethical purity of mind and non-attachment to anything that detracts from purity of mind, from a clear mind, an unencumbered mind. In this sense, Buddhism is a pristine spiritual elixir with no added vocabularies, stories, beliefs or ornamentation. The ‘going out’ or ‘cessation’ of all hindrances to achieving jhana and samadhi states is nirvana. In this sense, Buddhism is a universal religion that focuses directly on the goal of all ethical religious practice—direct knowledge and communion with ______; use your own word(s) for that. ABN

80% of Americans test positive for chemical found in Cheerios, Quaker Oats that may cause infertility, delayed puberty: study

Four out of five Americans are being exposed to a little-known chemical found in popular oat-based foods — including Cheerios and Quaker Oats — that is linked to reduced fertility, altered fetal growth and delayed puberty.

The Environmental Working Group published a study in the Journal of Exposure Science & Environmental Epidemiology on Thursday that found a staggering 80% of Americans tested positive for a harmful pesticide called chlormequat.

The “highly toxic agricultural chemical” is federally allowed to be used on oats and other grains imported to the US, according to the EWG. When applied to oat and grain crops, chlormequat alters a plant’s growth, preventing it from bending over and thus making it easier to harvest, per the EWG.

John O’Looney on what the evidence shows

The coverup O’Looney describes is similar to the coverup of doing far fewer autopsies over the past many decades. This was done to conceal psychosurgical injuries to the brain as well as the effects of poisons and targeted sensory damage. Understanding this kind of information requires the use of rational and scientific imagination. When we see false PCR tests drumming up panic and untested vaxxes being offered as ‘safe & effective’, we must use our rational imaginations to see that these two events are connected, that both are fraudulent and that both clearly imply malevolent intent; they are acts of war. If we can imagine that, then more dots will connect. USA and the West have fallen as far as they have due to clandestine warfare over many decades, not just the past few years. The clandestine weapons used have been psychosurgery, poison, murder, medical malpractice, educational misdirection, etc. These weapons destroy individuals thus allowing enemy combatants to take over whatever institution is being attacked—a university, a government agency, a news service, state or local court systems, etc. We saw with our own eyes the military being purged of its best warriors through vax mandates. The goal today is clearly to weaken Western populations as they are being replaced with chaotic immigration. Many can see this. What also needs to be seen is we are now living in the culmination of a clandestine war that has been ongoing very strongly since the end of WW2. ABN

Emotional ‘meaning’

  • I challenge readers to find an emotion that does not have “meaning.”
  • Emotions that have no meaning do exist, but are not common and are generally ignored.
  • What is “meaning” in this context?
  • Meaning here means, quite specifically, “that which is connected to (interconnected in) a semiotic network.”
  • Emotions arise due to bodily functions, metabolism, external events, communication events, life events, etc.
  • Once an emotion arises it is either discarded (given no “meaning”) or it is taken up into a semiotic network.
  • Once it is taken up into a semiotic network, an emotion will resonate within that network, have an import and “meaning” based on that network.
  • For example, a single impression of microaggression will almost certainly be defined by prior learning, by the prior existence of a semiotic network that accepts and defines this sort of perception.
  • That is to say, if the perceiver has been trained or self-taught to perceive and react to microaggression, their preformed sensibilities (its “meaning”) will respond to it, often far more strongly than conditions warrant.
  • A similar analysis applies to any emotion.
  • Watch yourself as you discard the brief feeling you might get from looking at a nondescript wall or a leaf curled on the ground. Compare emotional reactions you don’t discard, such as ones involving human expressions, tone of voice, things left unsaid, etc.
  • This shows that we will learn more about emotions by analyzing the semiotic networks that give them meaning rather than trying to trace them back to their intangible origins or follow their ambiguous development.
  • Emotions do develop as the networks that “hold” them develop and/or as the emotion itself is given greater or lesser prominence within its network(s).
  • In this sense, emotions can grow very large or become very small.
  • Ones that had meaning can and do disappear. But no emotion will appear and maintain itself for long without being taken into a semiotic network, given a meaning or assigned a meaning.
  • Notice how you have sensibilities and emotions connected to how you have been trained. And notice how these emotions and sensibilities are different from others who have not been trained as you have.
  • A trained gardener, salesperson, doctor, cook, surfer, etc. has emotions and sensibilities that are different from people who have not had their training, whether that training is formal or informal.
  • If you just spend time thinking about something you will be “training” yourself, developing different sensibilities and emotions about whatever it is.
  • Humans are semiotic animals that spend most of their time in semiotic environments.
  • A semiotic network communicates both with the self and with others.
  • Semiotic networks include everything that can be communicated, including language, ideas, emotions, beliefs, values, memories, skills, and so on.
  • If you were trained in a certain safety procedure and you agree with it (thoroughly putting out campfires, for example), it will drive you nuts to see someone ignore the basics. This is true for almost anything you were trained in and agree with.
  • Training gives us richer and different emotions, either in kind or in degree.
  • Training strengthens and broadens the semiotic network(s) holding or defining emotions, thus making them stronger, more sensible, more reasonable or, conversely, weaker, less sensible, less reasonable.
  • “Personalities” develop through training, some of it formal, much of it informal and idiosyncratic.
  • Some training is good and some of it is bad.

A good way to understand what is happening in America today is first understand that the human mind comprises a psycholinguistic, psycho-semiotic constellation. Then understand that this constellation is the battlefield upon which mind-control wages war. When people are defeated on this battlefield, all is lost and kinetic war is typically unnecessary. Notice the power of words in mind-control, information warfare. First cause fear and confusion in the psycholinguistic constellation of a population, then offer definite words that that reunify that constellation, that allow it to relax and feel whole again. For example, just declare that an untested and dangerous medical intervention is ‘safe and effective’ and that if everyone takes it everything will go back to normal, everything will be fine again. The words alone can produce most of the desired effect, especially if they have been already strengthened by semiotic conformity such as wearing masks or keeping six feet apart. The semiotic elements in this kind of information warfare are so powerful none of them need be ‘true’. They just need to fit the needs of the population being controlled and be reasonably well-timed and repeated often. This on its own creates a division between those who follow the mind-control thoughtlessly and those who do not. ABN
