The Ukrainian government inherited ownership of the Kiev Caves Lavra from the Soviet Union, and the “National Reserve,” as the state calls is, is divided into the Upper and Lower Lavra. The Church was already kicked out of the Upper Lavra, which includes the Holy Dormition Cathedral and the Sts. Anthony and Theodosius Trapeza Church, at the end of last year.
The Orthodox Church held its last service in the Upper Lavra on New Year’s Eve. Despite the persecution, the faithful people of Kiev maintained their faith, joyfully singing “Christ is Risen!” the last service.
The brotherhood has pled with the state to stop the persecution of the monastery and the UOC, but to no avail.
Many signs point to Zelensky’s policies as being acts of de-Ukrainianization of Ukraine, including massacring Ukrainian men by sending them into hopeless battles while also causing much of the rest of the country to flee. Zelensky, who is not a Ukrainian, does not act like a Ukrainian but rather as a puppet of NATO/neocons who seem to be bent on seizing depopulated Ukrainian territory for reasons not yet fully known. The number that summarizes the past 2.5 years of post-BLM life in America. But why?
4.5% of Black Males will commit murder in their lifetime as of 2021, if we choose to do nothing about the ongoing epidemic of violence.
4.4% to 7.2% of yearly Black Male deaths are homicides every single year, with no exceptions, since at least 1968. Over 90% of these are Black Male-on-Black Male.
4.35% is the backward-looking 60-year murder victimization rate of Black Males age 15-74, based on the 410,000 actual murder victims since 1968.
These are the low-end of what the rates could be in reality, given the large number of “unknowns” in the FBI data and the large number of “indeterminate” violent deaths coded by the CDC.
What about repeat offenders, you ask? The most extreme assumptions can bring the 4.5% down to as low as 3.3%. I ask: does that change our conclusions? Do we continue decarceration on the off-chance that only 3.3% will commit murder?
Former Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake of Arizona alleged Saturday that she was offered a bribe to stay out of politics for two years.
“Something happened to me this week before I left for CPAC and it shows how desperate these people are to stop me,” Lake said during the 2023 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
“Somebody showed up at my door this week,” Lake continued. “They called me before and said: I gotta talk to you in person, this can’t be done over the phone … They came to my door and they tried to bribe me out of getting out of politics. This really happened. I’m telling you this because this is how disgusting politics is. A mom who runs for office and they’re afraid of me? They tried to bribe me with a job title, with a huge salary, a position on a board.”
I hope she runs as Trump’s VP, then takes over as president after that. She has the charisma, brains, and moral character to do the job well. I believe her bribe story. This kind of thing definitely happens. ABN
Elizabeth Koch, 47, who grew up in in a $13 million mansion in Wichita, Kansas, spoke to the Times about the trauma she faced thanks to her wealthy upbringing, and her comments sparked fierce fury from social media users who branded the outlet as ’embarrassing’ and ‘humiliating’ for giving the billionaires a platform ‘to rehabilitate their public images.’
Elizabeth stated that being around so much money as a kid left her severely damaged, thanks to the deep ‘fear’ she developed over being judged for her riches and her long-lasting struggle to impress her powerful father.
One of the core concepts in Buddhism is that life in the “heavenly realm” can be a negative thing, principally because there is no impetus to comprehend the Four Noble Truths. A life without knowledge of suffering encourages clinging, which generates even more problems. I am instinctively on Elizabeth’s side, even without reading the NYT interview, because I am certain her suffering is real. Her audience of people who can understand her is obviously small, and that makes her position even more lonely. Very good-looking people, especially if they are also talented, can also suffer enormous pain due to the envy of the people around them. Envy and hatred of people who are wealthier or better than us generates terrible karma. When someone like Elizabeth speaks her mind, why not listen respectfully and take it in? I personally live simply and generally relate more to lower and middle class people than to wealthy ones, but I know wealthy people also suffer and can be excellent human beings. The Buddha himself was born into a very wealthy royal family. ABN
A mega-prison in El Salvador has opened its doors for its first 2,000 inmates of suspected gang members – who upon their arrival found out there are not enough beds for everyone and there are no mattresses at all.
The facility is designed to house 40,000 suspected gangsters and the security minister for the Central American country warned inmates they ‘will never walk out of here’.
The move to the high-tech prison follows President Nayib Bukele’s ‘war’ on crime.
Bukele tweeted that ‘at dawn, in a single operation, we transferred the first 2,000 members to the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT)’ – which he claims is the largest mega-prison in the Americas.
Bukele added: ‘This will be their new house, where they will live for decades, all mixed, unable to do any further harm to the population.’
With Russia now slowly escalating its ‘special military operation’ against Ukraine on the eve of its first anniversary, I find myself drawn once again to the complex but stark phenomenon of extreme Jewish corruption in the latter nation. While it’s become commonplace to note Volodymyr Zelensky’s Jewishness, and perhaps also that of Volodymyr Groysman, the first Prime Minister to serve under Zelensky, I have yet to read a detailed discussion of the major Jewish players in the ongoing saga of Ukrainian oligarchy and its political affiliates. If anything, the present conflict is a huge distraction from the fact that, for decades, the biggest threat to Ukraine hasn’t been Russia, but financiers and speculators operating with impunity within Ukraine’s borders to exploit ethnic Ukrainians and plunder their resources.
Rogan is right and his reasoning applies to all fields and shows up in all fields. Diversity has become a method of promoting loyalists who often lack skills. This leads to rapid decline in outcomes in all fields. It’s not just a race thing either. Witness the medical field caving to multiple unreasonable covid directives despite strong evidence they were and are wrong. Civilizations require hard lines which are never perfect and can always be questioned but must nonetheless be held or everything falls apart. In my opinion, Buttigieg himself is a diversity hire who is in way over his head as Transportation Secretary. ABN
Police in Japan have uncovered a ring of 17 men believed to have filmed 10,000 women in hot springs.
The men hid in mountainous areas near the springs and used telephoto lenses to film the women.
They also held gatherings to view the footage together, police say.
The Japanese police have arrested 17 men suspected of photographing and filming more than 10,000 women who were bathing in hot springs.
…The men used high-end camera equipment like long-focus telephoto lenses to film women bathing in the open-air hot springs, the Japanese police told The Asahi Shimbun. The men would take these pictures while hiding in mountainous areas several hundred meters from the springs, the police said. The group would also get tips from Saito on how best to photograph the women, and hold gatherings to view the footage together.
…This is a leak – essentially from one Deep State insider, Hersh’s key source. This 21st century “Deep Throat” remix may be appalled at the toxicity of the system, but at the same time he knows that whatever he says, there will be no consequences.
Cowardly Berlin – ignoring the nuts and bolts of the scheme all along – will not even squeak. After all the Green gang has been ecstatic, because the terror attack has thoroughly advanced their medieval de-industrialization agenda. In parallel, as an extra bonus, all the other European vassals receive further confirmation this is the fate that awaits them if they don’t follow His Master’s Voice.
Hersh’s narrative frames the Norwegians as the essential accessory to terror. Hardly surprising: NATO’s Jens “Peace is War” Stoltenberg has been a CIA asset for perhaps half a century. And Oslo of course had its own motives to be part of the deal; to collect loads of extra cash selling whatever spare energy it had for desperate European customers.
…Hersh’s modus operandi is legendary. From the perspective of a foreign correspondent on the ground since the mid-1990s, from the U.S. and NATOstan to all corners of Eurasia, it’s easy for someone like me to understand how he uses anonymous sources and how he accesses – and protects – his extensive list of contacts: trust works both ways. His track record is absolutely unrivalled.
But of course the possibility remains: what if he is being played? Is this no more than a limited hangout? After all, the narrative oscillates wildly between minute detail and quite a few dead ends, constantly featuring a huge paper trail and too many people in the loop – which implies exaggerated risk. The CIA hesitating too much to go for the kill is a certified red alert throughout the narrative – especially when we know that the ideal underwater actors for such an op would have come from the CIA Special Activities Division, and not the U.S. Navy.
The deepest thread that connects everything in the West is destruction. It only looks like self-destruction. It is not incompetence, at least not the usual kind. Infiltration, followed by usurpation, followed by methodical destruction. Every issue, every time. ABN
