‘I am at a loss to understand why there are reporters and Stanford professors who object to free speech on campus on issues of public concern’ ~ Jay Bhattacharya

This weekend, I will be appearing with Prof. John Ioannidis at a conference on academic freedom at Stanford. The conference organizers invited professors who disagreed with us to participate in the session, but they declined.

Some of those pro-lockdown professors have complained that there are people at Stanford talking to each other at Stanford with whom they disagree. At least one pro-lockdown reporter took to Twitter to create some sort of scandal around this fact.

The conference will be publicly live-streamed. I am at a loss to understand why there are reporters and Stanford professors who object to free speech on campus on issues of public concern. Everyone is free to disagree.

How the US government colludes with Big Tech to control the minds of the American people; and how Big Tech benefits from this relationship

At this point in history, anyone who is claiming the U.S. Government is not directly coordinating with social media platforms to shape opinion and cull information adverse to their interests, is being intellectually dishonest.   There is simply too much evidence of the intelligence apparatus, specifically the Dept of Homeland Security, being enmeshed with the platforms of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google and Microsoft.

The DHS justifications for the relationship all involve claims of ‘national security’ and domestic terror threats.  However, the simple and transparent motivations of the relationship are all political.  The DHS terms of “disinformation, misinformation and malinformation” are simply excuses for the platforms to adhere to the demands of the government and censor or remove discussion that is against the interests of those in power.  The truth of this is in the sunlight now.

That said, the relationship between the intelligence community and social media is one of mutual benefit.  DHS gets to conduct surveillance and control permitted speech in the public square, and in return Big Tech gets assurances of their ability to continue monopolistic enterprise and simultaneously receive subsidies on operational costs.  The legislative branch allows this synergy without oversight because the legislative branch is in alignment with the larger ‘national security’ ruse.

Nightmare from EU; Cabal strikes back

Earlier this month, the European Union approved legislation aimed at regulating social media platforms: the Digital Services Act. The law will take effect in 2024, in time for the next U.S. presidential elections, and promises big shifts in how online speech is refereed not just in Europe, but also here at home. The law, among other requirements, places substantial content moderation expectations on large social media firms—many based in the U.S.—which include limiting false information, hate speech, and extremism.

It’s not clear how social media firms will adapt to the law, but the fines they will face for failing to comply will be massive. Firms can be fined up to six percent of their annual revenue—that’s $11 billion for Google and $7 billion for Meta. Essentially, the EU has created a significant new legal incentive for firms to regulate expression on their platforms.

The law, while written to protect EU residents, will almost certainly lead social media firms to change their moderation policies worldwide. Thus, with the DSA, the EU will effectively be doing what the First Amendment ostensibly prohibits our own government from doing: regulating the editorial judgments made by social media platforms on which Americans communicate with each other.

Whistleblower Releases Internal FBI Guidance Document Highlighting Disinformation as an Election Crime

The dissidents at Project Veritas have received leaked whistleblower information from the FBI highlighting a guidance document that puts “disinformation” into the category of an “election crime.” [Source Article Here]   According to the internal guidance, sharing “false or inaccurate information intended to mislead others” may lead the FBI to charge people with election crimes.

[WASHINGTON, D.C. – Oct. 27, 2022] Project Veritas published a newly leaked document today provided by an FBI whistleblower.

The document details how the Bureau will tackle what they consider to be “election crimes.”

It lists “misinformation” as a potential election crime, describing it as “false or misleading information spread mistakenly or unintentionally.”

Three years of covid has shown conclusively that free speech is better than “curated” speech. The FBI itself is guilty of some of the worst misinformation in US history. Governments are political and corrupt and can never be trusted, especially when they get as big and captured as ours. Free speech allows all voices. Compare government-regulated covid speech, which even censors doctors, to the free speech of those of us who worked around the censorship to speak the truth. ABN

Latest video showing Hu Jintao’s expulsion from the 20th National Congress of the CCP

The video at this link shows Xi Jinping and others wrangling with Hu Jintao over a speech he is not being allowed to make. I cannot clearly hear what they are saying, but a video on the linked page has subtitles that show they are wrangling a bit and Xi is demanding Hu be taken to the rest area. I do not want to get too far into the weeds over this but below is a photo of Hu’s glasses with his banned speech with Xi Jinping’s head in the foreground. Hu reportedly has very bad vision so this further prevented him from resisting. ABN

Lawsuit reveals vast censorship scheme by Big Tech and the federal government

A little-noticed federal lawsuit, Missouri v. Biden, is uncovering astonishing evidence of an entrenched censorship scheme cooked up between the federal government and Big Tech that would make Communist China proud.

So far, 67 officials or agencies — including the FBI — have been accused in the lawsuit of violating the First Amendment by pressuring Facebook, Twitter and Google to censor users for alleged misinformation or disinformation.

Victims of the Biden-Big Tech “censorship enterprise” include The Post, whose Hunter Biden laptop exposé was suppressed by Facebook and then Twitter in October 2020 after the FBI went to Facebook, warning it with great specificity to watch out for a “dump” of Russian disinformation, pertaining to Joe Biden, with an uncanny resemblance to our stories.

“We allege that top-ranking Biden administration officials colluded with those social media companies to suppress speech about the Hunter Biden laptop story, the origins of COVID-19, the efficacy of masks, and election integrity,” is how the lawsuit was summarized by intrepid Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who is leading the action.

The heart of this “censorship enterprise” is mind-control. The thoughts and thought processes of most Americans are controlled by Big Tech, MSM, bought-and-sold celebrities, pseudoscientists, academics with no integrity, liars. It is the nature of language and culture that whoever seizes the high-ground of being able to define what things mean and what should be talked about wins. “When you have them by the balls language and culture, their hearts and minds will follow.” ABN

Judge grants depositions of Fauci, Jen Psaki and other high ranking Biden officials in case over ‘collusive relationship’ between administration and social media companies to ‘censor free speech’

  •  US District Judge Terry Doughty granted the request led by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry
  • The suit alleges the Biden administration actively worked with social media companies and encouraged them to censor ‘disfavored’ viewpoints and were in violation of the First Amendment rights of those individuals
  •  Anthony Fauci, Jen Psaki, the former White House Press Secretary, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Elvis Chan, among others will be deposed
  •  Before Friday’s order, the judge gave the White House 21 days to comply
  • He threw away the Justice Department’s attempt to use executive privilege
  • Doughty ruled that executive privilege does not apply to external communications by White House officials

“How long will they keep denying this? Both the magnitude, and the change over time bear out an association between the \/ and catching Covid” ~ The Ethical Skeptic

The BQ.1 and BQ.1.1 variants appeared inside Nowcast, just as was rumored.

What they did not tell you, was that the arrival of this rise in cases – is commensurate with a 22% rise in positivity among those \/’d less than 3 months ago.

4% LOSS in positivity among the UN-\/.

How long will they keep denying this? Both the magnitude, and the change over time bear out an association between the \/ and catching Covid.

Is it not a foul disgrace that someone as skilled and selfless as The Ethical Skeptic must use the symbol “\/” for covid vaccines? Three years of covid have shown us beyond a shadow of a doubt that “uncurated” information from “fringe” researchers has consistently been vastly better than the curated information served up by Big Tech, MSM, and the US government. But TES posts on Twitter, someone might say. Yes, he does and he is a rare exception that proves the rule and even he has had to use the symbol \/. He got around Twitter bans by using arcane vocabularies, \/, and by writing in an abstruse manner, which sadly kept his work hidden from many people it could have helped. Big Tech, MSN, the CDC, NIH, FDA, NIAID, and more have been horrible with covid information, which though they stated it clearly enough has been all but universally wrong. So wrong it has led to the worst manmade health disaster in world history. ABN

One of the best medical minds in the world on covid gets banned for providing some of the best information in the world on covid

It was probably this videoIt was a government operation. It was all planned ~ Dr Peter McCullough–that got the good doctor banned from Twatter. Our world and civilization is very deep in mind-control territory. I do not know how we are going to overcome this. I hope that millions of independent thinkers will prevail against the algorithms, but TBH I am not sure. Right now, the world is in a state of unbridled unrestricted warfare and anyone who threatens one of the top players is being silenced. ABN
