Question: Is remdesivir treatment associated with improved survival or shortened hospitalizations among people with COVID-19 in routine care settings?

Findings  In this cohort study of 2344 US veterans hospitalized with COVID-19, remdesivir therapy was not associated with improved 30-day survival but was associated with a significant increase in median time to hospital discharge.

Meaning  The findings suggest that routine use of remdesivir may be associated with increased use of hospital beds but not with improvements in survival.

This study involving 2344 patients found that remdesivir is shit for covid. The study was published July 15, 2021 and everybody knows about it. Other studies have shown remdesivir seriously damages kidneys and other organs, often with fatal results. And yet, due to NIH liability regulations and pompous, diabolical decrees, hospitals are all but forced to use this expensive but worthless treatment when there are many inexpensive and very effective treatments available. We all know the story—doctors and nurses fired for saying anything, treatments banned, their proven efficacy denied. The people doing this to our country are disgusting parasites, enjoying their grossly undeserved status while feeding on the American people. There is no reason to be nice about how we state the facts. These fucking assholes are killing hundreds of thousands of Americans with major worldwide consequences. It’s mass murder. ABN

Wrong on everything and yet they still are banning early treatment and effective in-hospital treatments. Worst crime of the century. In Buddhism, it is sometimes said that shame is our most valuable emotion because only shame makes us reflect fully on our mistakes and want to do our best to correct them. These people, so far, are displaying no shame; and we all know it is very likely they never will and thus will never correct their mistakes. VICTORY: Courts Allow Inspection of Fulton County, PA Voting Machines

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania/December 23, 2021 – The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania has ruled in favor of The Amistad Project and Fulton County, Pennsylvania, allowing the county to send its Dominion voting machines to the State Senate for inspection on January 10. 

“The court recognized that it was improper to demand that the county – which owns the machines, and has the responsibility of running the election along with the legislature – can’t determine whether the machines worked properly,” said Phill Kline, director of The Amistad Project. “As the judge noted, there’s no justification for preventing the county from looking at their own machines.” 

Pennsylvania’s attorney general and secretary of state had sued to prevent the inspection, which was originally scheduled for December 22, but the judge determined that it must be allowed to proceed, with a short delay to allow experts from both sides to come up with a formal protocol for the inspection.

The trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, the alleged madam of Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual blackmail and sex trafficking network, has attracted considerable mainstream and independent media attention, though not as much as one might expect given the level of media attention that surrounded Epstein’s 2019 arrest and death or given the public interest in the Epstein/Maxwell scandal and its broader implications.

Absent from mainstream discourse on Ghislaine Maxwell’s ongoing trial is any mention of the ties, not only of herself, but her family, to Israeli intelligence. Those ties, forged by Ghislaine’s father Robert Maxwell, are critical to understanding Ghislaine’s history and her role in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual blackmail and trafficking network.

Unsurprisingly, the broader implications of the Epstein/Maxwell scandal have been largely, if not entirely absent, from mainstream media (and some independent media) coverage of Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial as well as absent from the case itself. For example, despite physical evidence of sexual blackmail stored at Epstein’s residences being shown by the prosecution (with the names of those incriminated being notably redacted), the prosecution chose not to mention even the potential role of blackmail in Ghislaine Maxwell’s activities and motives as it related to her involvement in sex trafficking activities alongside Jeffrey Epstein. Not only that, but the names of Ghislaine’s close contacts and even some of her defense witnesses, along with considerable information about her role in Epstein’s network that is very much in the public interest, is due to be filed under seal and forever hidden from the public, either due to “deals” made between the prosecution and the defense in this case or due to rulings from the judge overseeing the case.

Going hand in hand with the blackmail angle of this case is the specter of Ghislaine Maxwell’s family ties to intelligence agencies, as well as the intelligence ties of Jeffrey Epstein himself. Given that blackmail, particularly sexual blackmail, has been used by intelligence agencies – particularly in the US and Israel – since the 1940s and beyond, it is deeply troubling that neither the blackmail or intelligence angle has played any role in the prosecution’s case or in the mainstream media’s coverage of the trial.

I was also puzzled by the mischaracterization of the GBD as a "herd immunity strategy". Biologically the epidemic ends when a sufficient number of people have immunity, either through COVID recovery or vax. Lockdown, let-it-rip, & the GBD all lead to that. (3/n)

As @MartinKulldorff has said, it makes as much sense to say "herd immunity strategy" as it does to say "gravity strategy" for landing an airplane. The only question is how to land safely, not whether gravity applies. (4/n)

Francis Collins is making a strawman argument as to the justification for his political demand to undermine scientific opposition.  The three scientists were not advocating to put vulnerable people at risk, or letting the virus just run through the population.  They were arguing the severity of the NIH and CDC response.  The lockdowns and mitigation effort, was disproportionate to the risk the virus presented

The scale of overreaction -not only in the email- from the medical and scientific establishment to any counter opinion or criticism only points out how those who made these decisions were/are incapable of accepting criticism.  That is a dangerous personality trait.

Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins are thin-skinned, unstable ideologues with visions of grandiosity. They have wreaked havoc on our nation and permeated a major crisis on the global stage.   These are not mentally or emotionally stable people, and it shows.

These are people who needed a career operating in government systems and institutions, because they could never be successful in the private sector.  They are devoid of skills needed outside academia and institutional structure.  These are very disturbed minds who have allowed their power to influence their narcissistic self-image.

History will not look well upon Collins or Fauci any more than history reflects well upon Josef Mengele.

UPDATE: I have seen defenses of Collins saying he wrote “take down of its premises,” which he did. But the actual “quick and devastating” result of his order was a vicious takedown of those scientists and any others who held opinions different from his own. A lockstep (their word) bureaucratic attack on scientific debate during the worst pandemic in 100 years happened only because top health officials control billions of dollars in grants and thus, few dare disagree with them. Our system must be completely revamped so we never get people like Collins, Fauci, Birx, and Wallensky anywhere near the top of the govt food chain again; they are unfit for their offices and have proved this conclusively over the past two years. It starts on 10/14/20 when Collins instructs Fauci and his staff to “take down” the GBD and the “fringe” scientists behind it.

Fauci responds immediately by circulating an article against the GBD from that austere scientific authority, @WiredUK.

The Fauci-endorsed Wired article is noteworthy for having one of the single worst hot-takes of the entire pandemic. It declared in October 2020 that the GBD should be ignored, because lockdowns were a thing of the past and would not be returning!
