‘Multiple doctors on Team Reality are spreading incorrect and incomplete information’ — Christie Grace

1/ Larger accounts/doctors are not biotech experts–you also have a DUTY to the truth. Some doctors have formed cults–whether you allowed it to happen or not–you must undo this. Multiple doctors on Team Reality are spreading incorrect and incomplete information. I have

2/ watched you all in horror start your sentences with "I know you might think I am not qualified to talk about this, but.." NO. You're right. Almost all of you are NOT qualified to talk about any of this.
Being in BIOTECH and managing project after project like I have is not

3/ just a matter of reading a research study on DSPC and making some assumption. I am watching larger doctors of different industries steer conversations in the wrong directions, and write papers which are complete rubbish.Managing biotech means seeing a variety of projects, not

4/ just creating one drug or a handful. It is learning from MISTAKES. When I first started biotech, every month we held meetings on which projects went south, and why. You learn from MISTAKES, just like medical doctors do–seeing patients over time, not just saying, "Look at me

5/ I'm an MD or PhD and although I have only done surgery and lanced boils all my life, now I am a biotech expert. know everything."
Wrong, You don't know shit.
If this is the way you want to play it, and steer incorrect conversations, I will ride your asses like Seabiscuit.

6/ I am not all slamming doctors–one of my best friends is a doctor and I cherish her like the gift in life she is, but almost all the doctors out there are only giving partial info, and you are also focusing on the WRONG THINGS, and I am TIRED of you.
I am going to start by

7/ reviewing this thing on my next stack—why even take the time to write it? This is the equivalent of, "If you are rowing a boat upstream and lose and oar, how many waffles will fit into a dog house? none silly, because ice cream doesn't have bones!"
This paper focuses

8/ on the wrong info. WHY do you ALL keep going after the PEG? it is the least harmful part. So is DSPC. This is maddening now.
PS
Tell these authors I said what I said.
This paper is rubbish.

Autogynephilia: an underappreciated paraphilia

Abstract

Autogynephilia is defined as a male’s propensity to be sexually aroused by the thought of himself as a female. It is the paraphilia that is theorized to underlie transvestism and some forms of male-to-female (MtF) transsexualism. Autogynephilia encompasses sexual arousal with cross-dressing and cross-gender expression that does not involve women’s clothing per se. The concept of autogynephilia defines a typology of MtF transsexualism and offers a theory of motivation for one type of MtF transsexualism. Autogynephilia resembles a sexual orientation in that it involves elements of idealization and attachment as well as erotic desire. Nearly 3% of men in Western countries may experience autogynephilia; its most severe manifestation, MtF transsexualism, is rare but increasing in prevalence. Some theorists and clinicians reject the transsexual typology and theory of motivation derived from autogynephilia; their objections suggest a need for additional research. The concept of autogynephilia can assist clinicians in understanding some otherwise puzzling manifestations of nonhomosexual MtF transsexualism. Autogynephilia exemplifies an unusual paraphilic category called ‘erotic target identity inversions’, in which men desire to impersonate or turn their bodies into facsimiles of the persons or things to which they are sexually attracted.

The Big Vitamin D Mistake

Since 2006, type 1 diabetes in Finland has plateaued and then decreased after the authorities’ decision to fortify dietary milk products with cholecalciferol. The role of vitamin D in innate and adaptive immunity is critical. A statistical error in the estimation of the recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for vitamin D was recently discovered; in a correct analysis of the data used by the Institute of Medicine, it was found that 8895 IU/d was needed for 97.5% of individuals to achieve values ≥50 nmol/L. Another study confirmed that 6201 IU/d was needed to achieve 75 nmol/L and 9122 IU/d was needed to reach 100 nmol/L. The largest meta-analysis ever conducted of studies published between 1966 and 2013 showed that 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels <75 nmol/L may be too low for safety and associated with higher all-cause mortality, demolishing the previously presumed U-shape curve of mortality associated with vitamin D levels. Since all-disease mortality is reduced to 1.0 with serum vitamin D levels ≥100 nmol/L, we call public health authorities to consider designating as the RDA at least three-fourths of the levels proposed by the Endocrine Society Expert Committee as safe upper tolerable daily intake doses. This could lead to a recommendation of 1000 IU for children <1 year on enriched formula and 1500 IU for breastfed children older than 6 months, 3000 IU for children >1 year of age, and around 8000 IU for young adults and thereafter. Actions are urgently needed to protect the global population from vitamin D deficiency.

The creator of the CRISPR babies has been released from a Chinese prison

The Chinese biophysicist who created the world’s first gene-edited children has been set free after three years in a Chinese prison.

He Jiankui created shock waves in 2018 with the stunning claim that he’d altered the genetic makeup of IVF embryos and implanted them into a woman’s uterus, leading to the birth of twin girls. A third child was born the following year.

Following international condemnation of the experiment, He was placed under home arrest and then detained. In December 2019, he was convicted by a Chinese court, which said the researcher had “deliberately violated” medical regulations and had “rashly applied gene editing technology to human assisted reproductive medicine.”

His release from prison was confirmed by people familiar with the situation and He answered his mobile phone when contacted early today. “It’s not convenient to talk right now,” he said before hanging up.

Discussion of a theory proposed by JJ Couey that public health officials in 2020 changed how they calculate all-cause mortality statistics to make flu deaths look like deaths from COVID-19

The podcast features Couey’s presentation plus comments from:

This video is from late October of 2022 but it is well-worth watching. Couey makes a clear presentation of his theory and the others discuss and comment on it. ABN

I attended the 23rd World Vaccine Congress in Washington DC. This is what I saw and heard…

General impressions

  • The majority of attendees truly believe they are doing the right thing.
  • The majority of attendees look no further than recommendations from agencies of public health to guide their opinions. In other words, they fully believe COVID-19 mRNA (and other) vaccines are exceedingly safe and have saved millions of lives.
  • Beyond members of the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) and officers from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), few, if any, are aware of vaccine trial and post-marketing observational data around COVID-19 vaccine safety and efficacy.
  • The keynote speakers and expert panel moderators who raised the topic of “vaccine hesitancy” were dismissive of those who managed to avoid vaccination and were openly contemptuous of those who encouraged others to do the same.
  • Except for a few instances, the tone of the presentations and round table discussions were collegial. Aside from the pointed questions that Mumper and I were able to pose, there were no open hints that any of the attendees questioned the conventional narratives around the COVID-19 pandemic response.
  • One-on-one exchanges revealed encouraging signs that not everyone there has bought the conventional narratives around the pandemic.
  • Calls for public-private “partnerships” were a common theme.

Committees, colleagues, subcultures, conformity, professional organizations, medical boards, academic standards, peer review, Big Science, school boards, etc. — we have been witnessing what a very bad job these largely-cultural groups do. There is no place within them for independent voices to be heard and no place outside of them able to penetrate their soft armor, except money $$$$. With money they can all be controlled. Through grants Big Science is totally controlled as are government agencies. This roughly describes the flabby body of the debacle that has been and still is suffocating our civilization. ABN

The best refutation I have seen of Geert Vanden Bossche’s prediction

The reason I do not find VB compelling is I am mainly convinced that the variant narrative is bogus. So anything propping the variant narrative I find is disinfo. I think his stuff is subtle and pernicious, in that it will seem to be true under many circumstances where it is not.

There is very good proof that there wasn’t any sort of new pandemic virus. The UK data shows that only 10k people died of Covid as primary cause – and even then it may have been the treatment that killed them, not the disease. People are getting sick who were vaccinated – not for some evolved variant but likely because of vaccine complications.

VB thesis is a precursor to greater lockdowns. We had regular covid before – but now we have super-covid etc. etc.

But most everyone they tested after vaccination had memory antibodies show up, demonstrating they already had natural immunity and Covid was not novel. So VB’s theory cannot work. A) because there was a previous virus and no new virus and B) if people already had natural immunity the vaccine can’t then drive evolution and likely C) corona virus creates so many variants on it’s own evolution can’t be driven in the way he says.

You can believe it if you want – I think he is a disinfo agent.

This is an email sent by a friend with whom I often communicate on covid and other subjects. He has been quite strong in his criticism of Vanden Bossche’s predictions, so I asked him why. ABN

Why aren’t we hearing about COVID waves anymore? Because COVID is at ‘a high tide’ — and staying there

It’s called infection-acquired seroprevalence, and it reflects the presence of COVID antibodies in people’s blood due to infection.

Before the Omicron wave began in late December 2021, infection-acquired seroprevalence was around six per cent of Canadians. By this past February, it had jumped to a stunning 77 per cent.

That means at least 27 million Canadians were infected between Dec. 1, 2021, and Jan. 31, 2023, according to the COVID-19 Immunity Task Force, a national group of experts formed to determine the extent of COVID infection in Canada.

“That’s what we call the Omicron tsunami,” says Dr. Tim Evans, executive director of the task force and a professor at McGill University. “It just gives you a sense of how transmissible the Omicron variant has been. It continues even today to be very widespread in Canada, and this is unlike any of the previous variants, which were much less transmissible.”

link

This was predicted by Geert Vanden Bossche. People have antibodies for Omicron but they are vaccinal non-neutralizing antibodies, meaning they do not ‘kill’ the virus but assist it. With each reinfection people call up again more non-neutralizing antibodies. Vanden Bossche’s fear is that the virus will become more virulent but no less transmissible due to ongoing evolutionary conditions such as these. ABN

Psychedelic-induced mystical experiences: An interdisciplinary discussion and critique

Contemporary research on serotonergic psychedelic compounds has been rife with references to so-called ‘mystical’ subjective effects. Several psychometric assessments have been used to assess such effects, and clinical studies have found quantitative associations between ‘mystical experiences’ and positive mental health outcomes. The nascent study of psychedelic-induced mystical experiences, however, has only minimally intersected with relevant contemporary scholarship from disciplines within the social sciences and humanities, such as religious studies and anthropology. Viewed from the perspective of these disciplines—which feature rich historical and cultural literatures on mysticism, religion, and related topics—‘mysticism’ as used in psychedelic research is fraught with limitations and intrinsic biases that are seldom acknowledged. Most notably, existing operationalizations of mystical experiences in psychedelic science fail to historicize the concept and therefore fail to acknowledge its perennialist and specifically Christian bias. Here, we trace the historical genesis of the mystical in psychedelic research in order to illuminate such biases, and also offer suggestions toward more nuanced and culturally-sensitive operationalizations of this phenomenon. In addition, we argue for the value of, and outline, complementary ‘non-mystical’ approaches to understanding putative mystical-type phenomena that may help facilitate empirical investigation and create linkages to existing neuro-psychological constructs. It is our hope that the present paper helps build interdisciplinary bridges that motivate fruitful paths toward stronger theoretical and empirical approaches in the study of psychedelic-induced mystical experiences.

I have not yet read this paper but am posting it anyway because psychedelics are interesting in and of themselves and also in relation to Buddhist history and religious practice worldwide. From what I know about psychedelics, they can be very helpful to some people used the right way at the right time. I honestly do not want to encourage the use of any drugs, including many prescribed drugs and OTC ‘pain-killers’ (some are brain killers, imo), but also believe that there is abundant evidence that psychedelics have affected most religious traditions beneficially, including Buddhism. From a Buddhist point of view I wonder Are We Misunderstanding the Fifth Precept? For the record, I do not use any drugs at all except caffeine and a very occasional micro-dose of homegrown organic tobacco under the tongue for maybe 30 seconds. ABN

Possible cure for Alzheimer’s found

A new way to reverse Alzheimer’s has been discovered by scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) — a major breakthrough with ‘dramatic’ results.

The researchers used a peptide, or string of amino acids, to interfere with an enzyme that is typically overactive in the brains of people with the disease.

The chemical compound stops an enzyme, called CDK15, in the brain linked to Alzheimer’s from becoming overactivated and harming neurons — causing cognitive decline.

Researchers hope their findings could serve as the center of future research into a drug that can reverse the disease’s devastating effect.

Li-Huei Tsai, the study’s senior author from MIT, said: ‘We found that the effect of this peptide is just remarkable. We saw wonderful effects in terms of reducing neurodegeneration and neuroinflammatory responses, and even rescuing behavior deficits.’
