The Unsettling Truth About Climate Science and Politics

…A key takeaway is that media reports and punditry, even by scientists, about climate change are the result of something like a long game of “telephone” where the message is slightly altered through every connection it makes to get to that day’s talking head. It’s all the worse because the interpretation from the original scientific studies is typically made by people who don’t understand what they’re reading or who have a bias to emphasize or, more often, want to create a certain conclusion. In these days of “journalists” who have lost any scruple or trepidation about writing their opinion (no matter how uninformed) as news, you generally have both, resulting in dishonest translations of the science by people who didn’t understand it to begin with.

Indeed, one of the most surprising and important lessons of Unsettled is that many claims made by the media, politicians, and “scientists,” usually of the left, based on the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), are not made in the reports themselves or are views or conclusions that the reports explicitly say are held with “low confidence.” For example — and I expect this will shock anyone, regardless of your opinions on the issue or the science — the IPCC expresses the following:

low confidence regarding the sign of trend in the magnitude and/or frequency of floods on a global scale” (in other words, the size and frequency of floods might just as easily be decreasing as increasing)

low confidence in a global-scale observed trend in drought or dryness (lack of rainfall) since the middle of the 20th century”

low confidence in trends in small-scale severe weather phenomena such as hail and thunderstorms”

An IPCC Special Report says, “Even if there were no anthropogenic (human-caused) changes in climate, a wide variety of natural weather and climate extremes would still occur.”

After the destructive fraudulence of covid pseudoscience, how can anyone believe today’s “climate science,” which is presented in the same manner—you must believe or you are a bad person, obey us or die, etc. ABN

U.S. Intel and National Security Apparatus Make Moves to Protect Joe Biden From Hunter Biden Laptop Fallout

Two extremely devastating accounts from the CIA and U.S. Intelligence Community’s public relations firm, The Washington Post, surface today highlighting and confirming the authenticity of the material contained in the Hunter Biden laptop.

The first defensive narrative is titled “Here’s how The Post analyzed Hunter Biden’s laptop” and was published at 11:00am ET today.  The second effort, intended to defend the administration from the fallout is titled, “Inside Hunter Biden’s multimillion-dollar deals with a Chinese energy company,” and was published four minutes later at 11:04am.

Both WaPo reports, facilitated by, approved by, and coordinated within the United States intelligence community, reveal that Hunter Biden used his position to leverage money from foreign governments in order to build the bank accounts and financial interests of the Biden family. However, it is critical to review these releases knowing the baseline is *NOT* to remove Joe Biden, but to protect him.

Andy Ngo asks Jordan Peterson how psychology can explain why Antifa is so evil and bad. JBP says it’s “revenge against God for the crime of Being”

Curious journalist Andy Ngo asks Professor Emeritus Jordan Peterson how psychology can explain why Antifa is so evil and bad. JBP says it's "revenge against God for the crime of Being." Then he starts crying.

I do not believe this. A more likely explanation is antifa is a parasitic cult or subculture and as such takes delight in destroying its host as it feeds on it (most of them are paid or receive other rewards, praise, social bonding, etc). Parasitism works best if the parasites hate the host and feel no compunction for harming it. Parasites feed on their host in many ways. Take a moment to consider how many parasitic subcultures we now have and how most of them openly state their hatred for some part or all of USA. Many jobs depend on hatred of the host, promotions depend on it. JP is an artist of ideas and in that sense he paints a good picture and I support his work, but he is more an artist than an intellectual especially since he has no sense of history and/or refuses to have one. Reminder, Zelenskyy Statements Coordinate with State Dept Message Needs

It is always worth a brief reminder when looking at statements from foreign politicians under the influence of the U.S. government via the state department, that all messaging – even messaging that seems provocative, is coordinated by the alignment of interests. The process of promoting a mutually beneficial reality is especially important when reviewing any current statements from Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

There is no sunlight between the agenda of Zelenskyy and the agenda of the U.S. State department. There are times when the U.S. government will ask their ideological policy partner, Zelenskyy, to be intentionally antagonistic toward the U.S. because the U.S. government is coordinating an internal pressure campaign.  It is all part of the carefully crafted propaganda campaign for domestic consumption.

The wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas [outlined the] pushed 2020 election fraud conspiracy theories in dozens of text messages with ex-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, reports revealed on Thursday.

Conservative activist Virginia ‘Ginni’ Thomas urged Donald Trump‘s former aide to make controversial lawyer Sidney Powell the face of the ex-president’s legal defense and appeared to frequently promote QAnon beliefs in texts obtained by the Washington Post.

The 29 messages are reportedly part of the vast tranche of documents Meadows handed over to the House select committee investigating the Capitol [demonstration] attack

Besides mountains of evidence the election was stolen, we have solid proof in the glaring incompetence of the two interlopers who profited from the steal. Trump won. The stolen election is a dismal marker of how much we have declined as a free nation. ABN

Subception

Subception, short for Subliminal Perception, is a process emphasized by Carl Rogers in which a stimulus is experienced or responded to without being brought into awareness. According to Rogers, the mind applies unconscious strategies to protect the individual from a negative stimulus before it enters consciousness.

Alley Dog

1. short for subliminal perception.

2. according to Carl Rogers, a strategy for keeping unconscious a subliminal, emotion-provoking stimulus that threatens or is incongruent with one’s self-concept.

Give this idea some thought and you can see it is fundamental to mind-control, propaganda, population control. The victim of mind-control must accept the imposed narrative and also must be able to not see or push away counterevidence or counternarratives. It’s what American politics with help from legacy media does best. ABN

How to Detect Propaganda – The Art of the Professional Lie

As we outlined in a recent article, contrary to their social definitions, the delineation litmus between misinformation and disinformation cannot logically be based upon the information bearer’s ‘intent’. Even the circumstance wherein one is innocently mistaken or misinformed results primarily from the work of intent. When caught in their game, malicious players can as well simply resort to the excuse, ‘I was innocently mistaken’. Most often, ‘being accidentally wrong’ stems specifically from a verb called ignorance in the first place – and ignorance almost always involves intent. Therefore, almost all forms of misinformation originate from an intent, tucked away somewhere inside their value chain. This is the nature of propaganda.

As well, we observed inside a previous article that most deliberations of merit inexorably devolve into a false Hegelian Bifurcation, the result of the active work of agency (not bias). The goal of the ethical skeptic is not to take a ‘middle’ position in such manufactured polarization, as that simply serves to reinforce the false dilemma in the first place. The purpose of epoché is to divorce yourself from the bifurcation to begin with – and be able to spot the agency behind it (not mere human bias). Be neither a theist, atheist, nor agnostic. Such roles are all unwitting victims inside a web of deception.

Counterinsurgency, PSYOPS and the Military Origins of the Internet

As the digital revolution was underway in the mid-nineties, research departments at the CIA and NSA were developing programs to predict the usefulness of the world wide web as a tool for capturing what they dubbed “birds of a feather” formations. That’s when flocks of sparrows make sudden movements together in rhythmical patterns.

They were particularly interested in how these principles would influence the way that people would eventually move together on the burgeoning internet: Would groups and communities move together in the same way as ‘birds of a feather, so that they could be tracked in an organised way? And if their movements could be indexed and recorded, could they be identified later by their digital fingerprints?

To answer these questions, the CIA and NSA established a series of initiatives called Massive Digital Data Systems (MDDS) to directly fund tech entrepreneurs through an inter-university disbursement program. Naming their first unclassified briefing for computer scientists ‘birds of a feather,’ which took place in San Jose in the spring of 1995.

Amongst the first grants provided by the MDDS program to capture the ‘birds of a feather’ theory towards building a massive digital library and indexing system – using the internet as its backbone – were dispersed to two Stanford University PHD’s, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, who were making significant headways in the development of web-page ranking technology that would track user movements online.

Those disbursements, together with $4.5 million in grants from a multi-agency consortium including NASA and DARPA, became the seed funding that was used to establish Google.

Central banks are realising CBDCs will have to be intimately linked to identity to deal with illicit finance and bank disintermediation risk

What CBDC research and experimentation appears to be showing is that it will be nigh on impossible to issue such currencies outside of a comprehensive national digital ID management system. Meaning: CBDCs will likely be tied to personal accounts that include personal data, credit history and other forms of relevant information.
