Ukrainian soldiers have painted a bleak picture of their on-going defence of Bakhmut, the small eastern city that has become the target of Europe’s bloodiest infantry battle since the Second World War.
Kyiv‘s soldiers have said they knew they were being sent to their deaths when they were given the orders to go to the city, and admitted they are ‘just getting killed’.
This battle and the whole war have been a massacre of Ukrainian men. It is American/ NATO neocons who blocked early negotiations a year ago that could have ended the war on reasonable terms for both sides. I see no other conclusion than Zelensky’s masters want to see Ukraine denuded of Ukrainians. Hungary has been in the crosshairs of the Biden/Obama administration ever since Prime Minister Viktor Orban refused to align with the WEF Western Democracies in their quest for regime change in Russia. A Review of DiEugenio’s “Foreign Policy Coup” Theory
I have watched Oliver Stone’s documentary on the assassination of JFK, both the short version,JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass, and the long version in four episodes, JFK: Destiny Betrayed. I recommend the latter, which I will discuss here. Although the technical parts (the bullets, the autopsy, Oswald’s CIA handlers) are interesting and partly new, I will focus exclusively on the theory regarding the main culprits and their motive. And I will discuss the larger work of James DiEugenio, who wrote the film—and probably interviewed the different contributors, although Stone appears to be doing it.
James DiEugenio has been investigating the Kennedy presidency and the Kennedy assassination from the time of the Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB), which was largely a consequence of Oliver Stone’s Hollywood film JFK (1991). His first book was Destiny Betrayed: JFK, Cuba, and the Garrison Case (1992, newly edited in 2012). In 1993, he founded Citizens for Truth about the Kennedy Assassination (CTKA), and co-edited Probe Magazine, now replaced by the website KennedysandKing.com.
Sheila Jackson Lee, a Black radical activist Congresswoman from Houston has introduced a bill in the House that would criminalize thought crimes, and in particular it would criminalize sites like The Occidental Observer, but also the much more mainstream Tucker Carlson. This is because it includes “replacement theory” as a possible motivation and would apply to anyone who writes or talks about replacement theory in a public forum so that someone seeing it online could be inspired to commit a crime as a result (say, assaulting an immigrant). In such a case, the writer or talk show personality would be considered a co-conspirator.
This smells like ruse cooked up by DS Susan & Lisa to ditch Brandon for Kamala while also pushing Hunter out the door. Plot has the feel of high school schemers, and places the raid on Mar-a-Lago in a new light. That raid now looks like a setup to make this move on Brandon stick rather than the fishing trip analysts thought it was at the time. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate Joe Biden’s handling of classified records.
In 2018, Hur was part of the Justice Department team that worked to stifle a House Republican probe of the agency’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s links to Russia. According to Justice Department emails reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon, Hur, who served as principal associate deputy attorney general, helped draft a letter to Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee in January 2018 to block a report—the so-called Nunes memo—that poked holes in the government’s investigation of the Trump campaign.
Hur’s work to shut down the memo, which years later has been largely vindicated, casts doubt on his ability to impartially investigate Biden, according to the memo’s Republican author, former House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes.
“Hur looks like a fixer for the Democrats and the Deep State,” Nunes told the Free Beacon.
Looks like this will be a classic slow-walk the issue till it’s dead. That said, there are rumors that Susan Rice is out to get rid of Brandon and Hunter before 2024 as so much info has come out they have become heavy baggage for the neocons who rule USA from the shadows. ABN
Even Before NATO Expansion, the West Sought to Strangle Russia Economically
The first post-cold war assault on Russia by the West began in the early 1990s well before the expansion of NATO. It took the form of a U.S.-induced economic depression in Russia that was deeper and more disastrous than the Great Depression that devastated the U.S. in the 1930s. And it came at a time when Russians were naively talking of a “Common European Home” and a common European security structure that would include Russia.
…there is no doubt that the actions of the US and the West were critical factors in the Great Russian Depression. An understanding of this goes a long way in making sense of events leading up to the present moment of U.S. proxy war in Ukraine and the brutal sanctions imposed on Russia. This understanding, however, does not fit the narrative to which the NYT confines itself – and its readers.
