Last week Ukraine presented President Donald Trump with their “term sheets,” what they require in order to accept a ceasefire. Today in Istanbul, Turkey, the Russian Federation presented the Ukraine delegation, and likely a transmission to the White House, with the Russian “term sheets.”
This further clarifies the content of the significant meetings this afternoon in the White House, where President Trump assembled his “military leadership” and likely foreign policy team.
Vladimir Medinsky, the head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Istanbul, said Russia is offering Kyiv a temporary ceasefire. Medinsky said that Russia has prepared a two-part “memorandum” proposing a ceasefire and ending the war it started. The second part of the “memorandum” provides for “variability” and “several paths”, he said. Here are the two primary parts of the Russian terms: Section 1 “Settlement of Crisis”, and Section 2 “Terms for Ceasefire”.
It should also be noted, the lack of a severe response by Russian President Vladimir Putin to yesterday’s attack on Russian air force bases likely indicates President Putin has what he wants. These terms and condition sheets were created prior to the Ukraine attack on Sunday. These are Putin’s conditions to stop further military conflict.
In Section II containing the “Ceasefire Conditions” (below) Russian President Putin demands Ukraine conduct democratic elections (#7, #8). Putin seemingly knows western installed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will lose and as a consequence weaken the western influence operations. Both President Trump and Secretary Marco Rubio have previously advocated for the same.

Macgregor on Trump and Ukraine
He has a point but I doubt Trump does not know what he is saying about the world. The bigger strategy than the war itself is forming a secure northern alliance between Russia, Europe, North America, Japan, Korea and other willing partners. In the Middle East, the bigger strategy is an alliance between GCC, USA, and others in the ME which sidelines Israeli supremacy fanatics, precluding them from becoming the region’s hegemon or pursuing their zany ‘Greater Israel’ fantasy. Ukraine’s drone attack on Russia most successful in history and redefines military strategy

Zelensky said just hours before Ukrainian and Russian delegates meet for negotiations in Turkey’s capital Istanbul today, the attack on Vladimir Putin’s irreplaceable nuclear bombers ‘will undoubtedly be in [the] history books’.
The attack was carried out exactly 29 years to the day after Ukraine handed over dozens of the same strategic bombers to Russia, along with up to 2,000 strategic nuclear warheads and 176 ICBMs in exchange for a promise not to be attacked, under the Budapest Memorandum.
In their most daring attack of the war to date, Ukrainian special forces first smuggled 117 first-person view (FPV) kamikaze drones – which allow pilots to control them remotely through a live feed – into Russia.
Then came mobile wooden cabins, whose roofs had hidden compartments into which the small flying weapons were stashed.
They were loaded on to civilian trucks heading into enemy territory, their hired local drivers seemingly unaware of what they were carrying.
Finally, yesterday afternoon, with all the lorries within range of five airfields stretching from northern Russia down to Siberia – a safe 2,500 miles from Ukraine – they struck.
The roofs of the wooden cabins were opened remotely and the FPV drones took to the skies.

There are several major reasons for the downfall of the West and one of them is white people are prone to becoming extremely angry at each other. This attack may end peace negotiations. But it does appear to have been a brilliant military move, carried out with cunning and precision. I can admire that, even as I hope for peace and reproachment between these two very similar Slavic peoples with many centuries of shared history, and all of Europe. ABN

Russia says blasts led to deadly train crashes in regions bordering Ukraine
Investigators say ‘explosions’ caused two bridges to collapse, triggering derailments and at least seven deaths
Russian investigators said they believed “explosions” had caused two bridges in the border regions of Kursk and Bryansk to collapse overnight, derailing trains, killing at least seven people and injuring dozens.
In Bryansk, which borders Ukraine, a road bridge collapsed on to a railway line late on Saturday, derailing a passenger train heading to Moscow and killing at least seven people. A rail bridge in neighbouring Kursk also collapsed overnight, derailing a freight train and injuring the driver, officials said. Kursk also borders Ukraine.
The twin bridge disasters came on the eve of possible peace talks in Turkey demanded by the US and aimed at ending the three-year-old war in Ukraine.
Almost certainly yet more Zelensky moves to derail peace negotiations. ABN

Petraeus claims Lithuania may be invaded by Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin could turn his attention to Lithuania once he secures his goals in Ukraine, General David Petraeus has warned, as he accused the West of dragging its feet on vital military support. The former CIA Director said Mr Putin’s ultimate aim was not just holding four partially occupied Ukrainian provinces and annexed Crimea — but toppling President Volodymyr Zelensky and seizing control of the entire country.
Speaking during a Policy Exchange webinar on Thursday, he said: “They still want to control not just all four of these provinces and Crimea. They want to topple Volodymr Zelensky and replace him with a Russian puppet so they control all of Ukraine.” And he warned: “Once that’s done, you’re going to see them start to focus toward, I’d say, one of the Baltic States — Lithuania has featured prominently in his speeches — and we should be listening.” The remark was a reference to Mr Putin’s infamous description of the collapse of the USSR as “the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century” — a statement General Petraeus – who warned Putin was “planning for a war against Europe” – said had laid bare the Kremlin’s true intentions for years.
I interpret this as warmongering on Petraeus’ part. NATO has behaved belligerently toward Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union. They started out gradually by making false promises of non-encroachment while also feigning they might allow Russia to join NATO. It was all hostile BS and here we are today. NATO/Ukraine tried to kill Putin in a mass drone attack just a few days ago; an attack Trump seems to have been unaware of, and probably was deliberately not informed of by compromisers close to him, who knows? The attack was almost certainly designed to disrupt Putin-Trump peace negotiations, which appeared promising. There is a clear path to peace in Ukraine which requires allowing Russia to get what it deserves historically, culturally, politically and as the spoils of their successful incursion against NATO encroachment in Ukraine. Trump on Iran nuclear negotiations
The signs are that Iran is backing away from any ambition to dominate the region as the GCC and others move to become a ‘collective hegemon’, thus sidelining Israel and ending its ambition to be the region’s hegemon and establish its Zionist ‘Greater Israel’ fantasy. I am suspicious Jewish Supremists are goading European tools into attacking Russia as that would provide cover for renewed Israeli violence in the Middle East, while also slaughtering more European Christians, a consistent JS fetish. Trump seems to be fully aware he is juggling many factors like these and that all of them have very serious ramifications. ABN
Exclusive: Putin’s demands for peace include an end to NATO enlargement, sources say
- Summary
- Putin wants written pledge to halt NATO expansion eastwards, sources say
- Russia also seeks lifting of sanctions and protection for Russian speakers in Ukraine
- Ukraine has insisted on NATO membership aspirations despite Russian demands
MOSCOW, May 28 (Reuters) – President Vladimir Putin’s conditions for ending the war in Ukraine include a demand that Western leaders pledge in writing to stop enlarging NATO eastwards and lift a chunk of sanctions on Russia, according to three Russian sources with knowledge of the negotiations.
U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly said he wants to end the deadliest European conflict since World War Two and has shown increasing frustration with Putin in recent days, warning on Tuesday the Russian leader was “playing with fire” by refusing to engage in ceasefire talks with Kyiv as his forces made gains on the battlefield.
Not providing this NATO non-expansion commitment is so provocative, it’s an act of war. This whole war began due to NATO constantly encroaching on Russia. Europe has not gained anything from WW1 or WW2 but only deeply hurt itself. WW3 with Russia will be more of the same. It is so not in Europe’s interest to act as they have done and are continuing to do, one can only assume a secret behind-the-scenes force is pushing them into further conflict. Give Putin what he wants and what NATO promised Russia when the Soviet Union disintegrated. ABN

Vladimir Putin accuses ‘ethnic Jews’ of tearing apart the Russian Orthodox Church
Vladimir Putin accused Jews of attacking the Russian Orthodox Church and suggested that they lacked family and “roots,” the latest antisemitic statement from the Russian leader since his 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
Putin made the allegation during his lengthy annual press conference ahead of the New Year, which lasted four hours on Thursday. In the middle of of the event, Putin addressed punitive actions against the Russian Orthodox Church elsewhere in Europe. The church is considered to be closely tied to Putin’s regime, and its leaders have been expelled from countries such as Bulgaria and Estonia.
Putin said the church was “being tortured” — and blamed Jews.
“They’re tearing the church apart but they’re not even atheists,” Putin said. “These are people without any beliefs, godless people, they’re ethnic Jews, but has anyone seen them in a synagogue? I don’t think so.”
After adding that the alleged opponents of the church were also neither Orthodox Christian nor Muslim, he added, “These are people without kin or memory, with no roots. They don’t cherish what we cherish and the majority of the Ukrainian people cherish as well.”
US and UK remove all range restrictions on weapons in Ukraine after Trump brands Putin ‘absolutely crazy’
The UK, US and the rest of Ukraine’s western allies have agreed to remove all remaining range restrictions on the country’s use of weapons following Trump’s blistering criticism of Putin.
It comes after Russia launched its largest wave of drone strikes at Ukraine since its full-scale invasion began in 2022, leading President Trump to brand Putin “absolutely crazy.”
On Sunday, Friedrich Merz, Germany’s conservative leader, confirmed Ukraine has been granted permission to use “long-range fire”, as France’s President Macron called for “massive retaliation.”
Announcing the new measures, Merz said: “There are no longer any range limits on the weapons that have been delivered to Ukraine: not from the Britons, nor from the French, nor from us, and not from the Americans either.
“This means that Ukraine can now defend itself, for example, by attacking military positions in Russia … with very few exceptions, it didn’t do that until recently. It can now do that.”

Merz says there are no more range restrictions on the weapons supplied to Ukraine
BERLIN (AP) — Germany’s new chancellor said Monday that his country and other major allies are no longer imposing any range restrictions on weapons supplied to Ukraine as it fights the Russian invasion.
Friedrich Merz has plunged into diplomatic efforts to try to secure a ceasefire and keep Western support for Ukraine intact since becoming Germany’s leader nearly three weeks ago.
On Monday, he said that “there are no longer any range restrictions for weapons that have been delivered to Ukraine — neither by the British, nor by the French, nor by us, and not by the Americans either.”
“That means Ukraine can also defend itself by, for example, attacking military positions in Russia,” Merz said at a forum organized by WDR public television. “Until a while ago, it couldn’t. … It can now.”
“We call this ‘long-range fire’ in jargon, also supplying Ukraine with weapons that attack military targets in the hinterland,” he added.
This is what they have wanted all along. Who is behind this is surely the same as who was behind WW1 and WW2. I doubt there is any way to turn this around. ABN
