I get your point about doing his job. However, in this case doing his job could get him killed, so I’d call him a man of integrity who is willing to do the right thing even if doing the right thing may put him at risk for bodily harm or death.
that’s a good point. it’s a sad sign of our times that doing your job reasonably can be extremely dangerous
