This independent journalist shows up at a public office building with a legal freedom of information request. He finds himself surrounded by seven or eight cops asking him to leave for no reason.. he’s not broken any laws.. There’s a lot of back-and-forth here, and it may sound redundant, but he is brilliantly, politely, and assertively making his case.
He systematically disarmed all of them with his knowledge of the law. We all need to be more like this guy, and PS this has a very satisfying ending.
This is an interesting video. It’s a particularly well-done version of this genre, which most of us have seen before. It’s very good when citizens do stuff like this politely, forcefully, correctly and successfully. I hope the supervisor watches this video many times and learns deep lessons from it. Few citizens are strong enough or knowledgeable enough to pull this off while facing eight cops, so it’s great when someone does it and films all of it for everyone to see. ABN
