The Blue-eyed Darner is widespread across Western USA between the Pacific Coast and the Rocky Mountains. Its range extends into the Great Plains and Midwest (as far east as the Dakotas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin); north into Western Canada and south into Mexico and Central America.
