Here we go… It was only a matter of time before the DOJ-NSD architects of the Trump targeting operation came out from the shadows. For the past five years Mary McCord has been one of a small and select lawfare group organizing the targeting of President Trump.
Mary McCord led the support team who created the Carter Page FISA warrant using the Steele Dossier to replace the required ‘Wood’s file’. McCord was the DOJ-NSD official who traveled with DOJ Deputy AG Sally Yates to talk to former White House counsel Don McGhan which weaponized the Flynn-Kislyak call to remove Trump’s National Security Advisor.
Mary McCord was the person who organized Alexander Vindman and Eric Ciaramella to construct the first impeachment effort. Additionally, it was Mary McCord along with her former legal counsel, turned Intelligence Community Inspector General, Michael Atkinson, who changed the ICIG whistleblower rules allowing an anonymous complaint to underpin the false accusations from Ciaramella against Trump.
It was also Mary McCord who was appointed by FISA court Judge James Boasberg as an amici curia to the court, intercepting issues of false information in filings from the DOJ-NSD to the court as constructed by Kevin Clinesmith.
It was Mary McCord who then took up the lead congressional position within the impeachment construct created by Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler, and it was Mary McCord who then joined the January 6 Committee in the committee fight to obtain President Trump’s white house records.
Mary McCord surfaces today with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos to outline what her team has currently constructed, including the specific targeting approaches her DOJ-NSD and Lawfare crew have put together.

As noted by President Trump and numerous lawyers in/around his office, the U.S. Dept of Justice and FBI visited Mar-a-Lago on June 3, 2022, to review presidential documents kept in storage boxes there. After that visit the next contact with DOJ and FBI officials was the raid on August 8th.
…The Trump targeting is not a democrat -vs- republican issue. The two political clubs hold an almost identical vested interest, albeit admittedly one side needs to publicly pretend they are not assisting.
We must always remain aware; this is national political power at its highest and most corrupt level. There are trillions at stake for the interests of both clubs. Donald Trump represents a unique threat to all DC stakeholders.
…I would emphasize one major point and draw attention to something in the background that almost no-one noticed years ago.
First, the search warrant was not specific, was not detailed, was not drawn out to avoid targeting ancillary items unrelated to the DOJ mission at heart. The warrant itself was structured to seize every scintilla of documentary evidence, seen, created, or produced during President Trump’s term in office. Literally every shred of paper. [WARRANT LINK]
This issue stands out for a host of reasons. One of them speaks to the mindset of a judge who would authorize the raid itself. What judge would authorize a raid on the home of the president with the parameters to seize “Any government and/or presidential record created between January 20, 2017 and January 20, 2021?”
That’s literally everything, including Christmas cards, notes, letters of appreciation from Americans, internal correspondence, the works. Every shred of documentary evidence associated with the office of the President from the day he stepped into office until the day he left. That’s the parameters for the seizure.
If that doesn’t showcase the targeting effort, nothing will. That is an absurd demand that no president in the history of this nation has ever faced. No DOJ official in any capacity past or present would ever consider that an appropriate parameter for a document seizure, until now. THAT showcases the intensity of the DOJ and FBI effort to target Donald J Trump.
…There is no greater example of political targeting than what we are witnessing right now.
The FBI shocked America this week by raiding Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. This unprecedented move astonished Republicans and conservatives and united them behind Trump. But Trump is not the only victim of America’s ongoing communist coup. The Biden Regime increasingly uses its legal powers at the bidding of its hysterical coalition of activists, who demand that it imprison their enemies. …In any event, it’s the Biden DOJ setting the narrative. They’ve done what they’ve set out to do: to poison the public with the “nuclear weapon” allegations. Today’s disclosures push back on those leaks. Don’t be surprised when the DOJ fights the full release of the search warrant affidavit. Leaks can be managed; full disclosure is much tougher to defend.
