On March 2, 2023, the people in control of the Joe Biden administration officially announced that government control of internet content was now officially a part of the national security apparatus. [White House Link] If you have followed the history of how the Fourth Branch of Government has been created, you will immediately recognize the intent of this new framework.
The “National Cybersecurity Strategy” aligns with, supports, and works in concert with a total U.S. surveillance system, where definitions of information are then applied to “cybersecurity” and communication vectors. This policy is both a surveillance system and an information filtration prism where the government will decide what is information, disinformation, misinformation and malinformation, then act upon it.
In part, this appears to be a response to the revelations around government influence of social media, the Twitter Files. Now we see the formalization of the intent. The government will be the arbiter of truth and cyber security, not the communication platforms or private companies. This announcement puts the government in control.
1/ Why school indoctrination is working, and will make the Republicans unelectable in a generation. A thread, based on my new @ManhattanInst report with @ZachG932
2/ @jburnmurdoch@FT showed that younger generations are diverging from older ones by not becoming more Republican as they age. Why might this be?
3/ Indoctrination. Virtually all of over 1,500 18-20 year-olds polled had heard at least 1 of 8 critical social justice (CSJ) terms from adults at school. 90% heard a critical race (CRT) concept, 74% a gender one
A mega-prison in El Salvador has opened its doors for its first 2,000 inmates of suspected gang members – who upon their arrival found out there are not enough beds for everyone and there are no mattresses at all.
The facility is designed to house 40,000 suspected gangsters and the security minister for the Central American country warned inmates they ‘will never walk out of here’.
The move to the high-tech prison follows President Nayib Bukele’s ‘war’ on crime.
Bukele tweeted that ‘at dawn, in a single operation, we transferred the first 2,000 members to the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT)’ – which he claims is the largest mega-prison in the Americas.
Bukele added: ‘This will be their new house, where they will live for decades, all mixed, unable to do any further harm to the population.’
One reporter does a story. It may not be the whole story, but it’s newsworthy. The next reporter finds the next piece of the puzzle. A third adds more. We compete, but all push the story forward.
The Twitter Files response exposes a fake press:
Instead of taking as leads stories like Hamilton 68 or CENTCOM’s fake social media accounts abroad or the FBI, DOS and DHS cranking out thousands of moderation requests, “reputable” journalists are spending all their time attacking me and throwing stupid partisan tantrums. Why?
Because they’re not real journalists. The lot of them are invested in protecting people in power and defending their own screwups (like their stories about #ReleaseTheMemo being driven by Russian bots), so they’re refusing to follow up on dozens of newsworthy stories.
This is why I now have to hire people to help chase down all the stuff in the Twitter Files — because the “community” of reputable journalists not only won’t investigate as they once would have, they’re trying to shut such inquiries down.
TWITTER FILES #16 Comic Interlude: A Media Experiment
2. The #TwitterFiles have revealed a lot: thousands of moderation requests from every corner of government, Feds mistaking both conservatives and leftists for fictional Russians, even Twitter deciding on paper to cede moderation authority to the “U.S. intelligence community”:
3. These and at least a dozen other newsworthy revelations produced exactly zilch in mainstream news coverage in the last two months:
4. Then House hearings were held last week, at which one witness told a story about Donald Trump asking to remove a mean tweet by Chrissy Teigen.
By March 2021, as part of the Biden administration’s emergency countermeasure efforts involving COVID-19 vaccines, the administration handed out nearly $10 billion in money to influential groups across American society such as physician societies to advocate and aggressively promote the vaccines across low-income and underserved communities as part of the COVID-19 response. The targeted cohort would include pregnant women and their gestating babies. The logic behind these massive injections of funds into various groups of interest was, of course, that COVID-19 vaccination was the best way to protect people against COVID-19 infection. Data was just emerging at this time during the Delta variant predominance that the COVID-19 vaccines, while reducing the probability of morbidity and mortality, was by no means stopping viral transmission. Furthermore, the safety data was not well understood, and in fact, still remains unclear, especially when it comes to pregnant women and their gestating babies, lactation, and very young children per the to date Food and Drug Administration package inserts.
