…The presidential office has ordered an investigation into the blackout, while a cabinet spokesperson said authorities could not rule out the possibility of the plant being hacked.   

The mass blackouts came as former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with the island’s president Tsai Ing-wen to warn that Taiwan must not be allowed to suffer the same fate as Ukraine following Russia‘s barbaric invasion of the country.

Self-governed Taiwan’s 23 million people live under the constant threat of invasion by authoritarian China, which views the island as its territory and has vowed to one day seize it, by force if necessary.

The situation in Taiwan is not the same as Ukraine but it is similar in important ways. Both regions share deep historical roots with their Big Brother (Russia or China); both threaten the safety of their Big Brother (BB); both have been told time and again and openly by their BB that they will be invaded if they cross some line; both rely on USA which may or may not help either; and both hold important strategic positions, one on the Black Sea and the other on the South China Sea.

Taiwan has never been closer to a takeover by China than it is today. As a leader, Xi has much to gain domestically by successfully seizing Taiwan and something to lose if he passes up this opportunity or much to lose if he tries and fails. Biden is weak and does not seem to understand either Ukraine or Taiwan. I doubt USA will do much to help Taiwan. I wonder how this will play out for Japan; if they help Taiwan as promised, China will never forgive them. If they do nothing, they know they may be next. ABN

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, amid collapsing domestic approval ratings, is witnessing full-scale abandonment in the provinces, which is taking place as he moves to implement martial law on Freedom Convoy protesters who simply want their basic human rights respected.

Quebec is the latest province to revolt from the Canadian prime minister’s vaccine passport policy, Keean Bexte reported. “Trudeau is alone,” Bexte remarked.

Sunday Talks, All GOP Club Members Asked if They Support Mike Pence Remarks on Friday

For those who might not have been paying attention, last Friday the RNC Club membership held a discussion at the Federalist Society meeting in Florida.

The Federalist Society is the paid subcontractor of the RNC Club who provide the approved list of judicial nominees that club members are required to support.

Multinational business interests pay the Federalist Society to get their friends on the list, that’s their smaller business model within the club.

The Federalist Society then ranks the names according to the amount provided and the tenured status of the insider individual or group providing the reference. Then the list is passed along to the Club members, political leadership members, who are within the framework of government to install.

IMPORTANT FACT OF LIFE: The Republican National Committee (RNC), and the Democrat National Committee (DNC), are private clubs

The RNC and DNC are corporations, private businesses; and just like all private businesses they have the ability to make rules, bylaws, terms and conditions of membership and association that are completely arbitrary according to their charter.

The RNC and DNC are not entities of government, they are private corporations who engage in the business of politics.  Whenever we start to forget the DNC and RNC are private corporations, we can slip into the mistaken belief that they operate on any form of baseline altruism.  These corporations exist for the fulfillment of their mission.

Some call these private entities, these corporations, “clubs,” because using that term helps to remind us that these groups do not operate without a private agenda.

The rules within the RNC club are determined by the people who control the club charter, primarily large donors who fund the corporate business.  If they have a particular intent or direction, they wish the club to support or take, they control how the club engages in the process of achieving their outcome.  That effort is taken regardless of the opinion from the subordinate members in the club.

Through the process of controlling the corporations, the private clubs, both the RNC and DNC control how political events take place.  Nothing within this process is contingent upon the support of the voting electorate.

This is where much of the corruption happens. ABN

Sundance on DeSantis being in The Club; if you read only one thing today, this should be it

(1) The “what?” part is that today Florida Governor Ron DeSantis aligned himself with The Club. McConnell, Haley, Pence, Noem and DeSantis all part of the cocktail donor group, the R-Club, the right wing of the uniparty.

Timing matters….

(2) Timing matters because this is the year when the RNC, the mechanism of the R-Club, meets after the mid-term election and establishes the rules for the 2024 presidential election.

Most casual political observers do not follow closely.

(3) As a result, before the winter 2022 meeting of the rules, the political alignments of the individual members who will position to use the Club must be determined.

Each candidate makes their choice this year.

(4) The club insiders, mostly influential donors who control political outcomes, then establish the roadmap for the next general election based on their overall selected candidate(s).

Those selected candidates are what we call the "insiders", or party candidates.

Emerald Robinson: The Treachery of VP Mike Pence Explained

…Why did Pence and his staff spend four years hobbling the Trump Administration? Why can’t people believe that the GOP would try to impeach Trump to clear the way for Pence? Most Republican voters have never met the big GOP donors — and have no idea what they do with their money. The big donors wanted a Mike Pence/Nikki Haley ticket in 2024. They don’t really care what GOP voters want, and they never have. These are the people who pushed Jeb in 2016. And Paul Ryan before that. And Dan Quayle before that.

Pence is a creature of the GOP donors, not an America First patriot. That much is obvious now. Pence was added to the Trump ticket to restrain Trump’s populism — and that’s what he tried to do for four years. When pro-Trump aides were sidelined in the Trump White House, I heard the same thing from all of them: they were told to sit down and shut up and, if they were quiet, they might get to work for Pence and Haley in 2024.

It’s time for Republican voters to admit that they had no idea who Mike Pence was. Don’t be too upset with yourself. He fooled plenty of people. The man you thought he was — that guy doesn’t really exist. It’s time you paid much closer attention to your favorite politicians though— if you want your country to survive.

BLM’s millions unaccounted for after leaders quietly jumped ship

No one appears to have been in charge at Black Lives Matter for months. The address it lists on tax forms is wrong, and the charity’s two board members won’t say who controls its $60 million bankroll, a Washington Examiner investigation has found.

BLM’s shocking lack of transparency surrounding its finances and operations raises major legal and ethical red flags, multiple charity experts told the Washington Examiner.

“Like a giant ghost ship full of treasure drifting in the night with no captain, no discernible crew, and no clear direction,” CharityWatch Executive Director Laurie Styron said of BLM.

BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors appointed two activists to serve as the group’s senior directors following her resignation in May amid scrutiny over her personal finances. But both quietly announced in September that they never took the jobs due to disagreements with BLM. They told the Washington Examiner they don’t know who now leads the nation’s most influential social justice organization.

Many years ago, broke, I took a canvassing job with a leftist organization. TBH, I think I was the only canvasser who did not steal. The manager of the group was dynamic, intelligent, and friendly. We got along well. At the time I was not interested in politics but he tried to get me more on board politically as well as financially. “The left pays really well. You have to understand that. We do this because we are committed but also because the pay is really good. Once you establish yourself, the left will never abandon you.” At the time I did not care about the money or the left and refused his offer to train for a better position. He knew I was fairly rudderless and said, “You are missing a real opportunity. What you do not understand is this country is massively corrupt. No one gets anywhere in politics or activism without being corrupt. That’s just how it’s done.” He was right and time has shown me he knew exactly what was going on. ABN

FRANCE: Éric Zemmour on the Great Replacement and Civic Nationalism

The conservative French-Jewish pundit Éric Zemmour may well become France’s next president. The centerpiece of his campaign is opposition to the Great Replacement. The latter means the ongoing trend of substitution of the indigenous populations of France and Europe by non-European immigrants, in particular by Africans and Muslims.

In his most recent book, Zemmour writes the following on the Great Replacement:

I have the impression that no politician rightly apprehends what is at stake: the death of France as we knew her. . . . One simply needs to look at the films of [the 1960s and 70s] to realize this. The “great replacement” is not a myth, nor a conspiracy, but an implacable process. This vital identitarian question renders all other questions subsidiary, even the most essential such as education, industry, social protection, or the place of France in the world. I am sure that no candidate – not even Marine Le Pen – will dare to impose this identitarian and civilizational quarrel in the campaign. . . . Only [the far-left] Jean-Luc Mélenchon dares to mention the subject, but only to glorify the future of a mixed-race, “creolized” France …[1]

Zemmour’s central campaign promise is “zero immigration” to France (presumably not including immigration from the European Union). In addition, he would deport foreign criminals and would deprive criminal dual nationals of French citizenship (a suitable prelude to deportation). Significantly, French citizens of Turkish or Arab origin typically are dual nationals by default.

FLORIDA DRAWS THE LINE ON VACCINES: “The state of Florida is not going to serve as the Biden administration’s biomedical police,” Christina Pushaw, spokesperson for Gov DeSantis

There is a contradiction between Florida and federal law regarding vaccines. Companies required by the federal mandate to vaccinate all employees will be fined by Florida if they punish or fire employees who refuse the vaccine.

It’s not clear how the federal government is going to react but unlikely DeSantis will back down.

At a news conference Thursday in Panama City, DeSantis called the federal mandate for health care workers “insane, especially given the ineffectiveness of these shots to actually stop transmission between individuals.” He also said the mandates were contributing to labor shortages in the health care industry.

Biden is both politically weak and nationally unpopular, so pushing his luck on mandates will only bring this issue to a head and make matters worse for him. Yet doing nothing may embolden other governors to follow DeSantis, who seems to have made a good move by sharpening the outlines of this conflict.

Brussels backs Lithuania in row with China over Taiwan

Brussels has backed Lithuania in its clash with China over Taiwan, after Beijing reacted angrily to the Baltic country’s support for Taipei.

The backing came from the EU’s High Representative, Josep Borrell, following a meeting of the bloc’s foreign affairs ministers in Brest, who said that there was “clear solidarity” with Lithuania in the row.

“Some things [with China] are going well, some less well,” the foreign policy chief told reporters on Friday. “Notably in the meeting we talked about Chinese activities in Lithuania and the impact of these activities in terms of the EU as a whole. Member states expressed clear solidarity with Lithuania and we discussed how we can actively press on with de-escalation in terms of this crisis.”

KAZAKHSTAN: A US-funded biosecurity lab in Almaty could become a major embarrassment for Washington

…Why is Kazakhstan a sought-after partner? Simply put, the country provides unique access to ethnic Russian and Chinese groups as “specimens” for conducting field research involving highly pathogenic potential biological-warfare agents. Kazakhstan has 13,364 kilometers of borders with its neighboring countries Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. 

…How could Kazakhstan, a member of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), have gotten away with such conduct? This needs some explaining. 

Paradoxically, these biological labs are living examples of something sinister that has been going on that everyone knew and no one wanted to talk about – namely, the extensive penetration of the decadent Kazakh ruling elites by US intelligence.

This penetration has been going on for years, but significantly deepened as the 81-year-old former president Nursultan Nazarbayev’s “hands-on” leadership began to loosen and his family members and cronies increasingly began moonlighting (under the patriarch’s benevolent gaze, of course) – something akin to the Boris Yeltsin years in Russia.

The OSHA COVID-19 Mandate has been defeated

Today, the Supreme Court stayed the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Administration’s (OSHA) COVID-19 vaccine mandate, stating:

“Applicants now seek emergency relief from this Court, arguing that OSHA’s mandate exceeds its statutory authority and is otherwise unlawful. Agreeing that applicants are likely to prevail, we grant their applications and stay the rule.”

You can read the full opinion here. Justices Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan dissented – meaning that Justices Roberts, Thomas, Kavanaugh, Barrett, Alito, and Gorsuch voted in favor of staying the OSHA Mandate.

The effect of the stay is that the OSHA Mandate is essentially struck. It’s over. It won’t be implemented. In reaching this decision, the Court relied on the major questions doctrine (aka major rules doctrine), which we discussed here in arguing why the OSHA Mandate was unlawful. For those of you keeping score, we made this argument despite Twitter’s assurances that the OSHA Mandate was lawful.

Point One – The “Build Back Better” agenda (in every nation) was never about anything except radical climate change legislation.  Once you accept that baseline, things start to become much clearer.

Point Two – The “Build Back Better” phrase came from the World Economic Forum and was promoted by a multitude of international leaders and left-wing organizations.   That reality then brings up the most important point.  To get to “building back better”, you first need to destroy something.  That thing they needed to destroy was the global economic dependency on carbon-based fuel supplies (oil, gas, coal, etc.).

Point Three – In order to destroy the ‘something of that scale’, the energy program for the entire world, something massive is needed to fundamentally change the entire world approach toward energy production.  Something is needed to create the crisis that provides the origin for the process to initiate.

Point Four – That triggering mechanism was/is SARS-CoV-2, or what we now call COVID-19 and all variants therein.

There you have it.  That’s the summary soup to nuts explanation of why a virus was created, and the subsequent panic pushing to create social structures that would facilitate the global acceptance of an entire new economic system that would be designed around saving the planet.

First-rate piece by Sundance. It’s not long and beautifully succinct. This explanation tells why the public face of Western leadership is filled with stupid people, grubby bureaucrats, shitty politicians. Both Sundance’s analysis and the stupid people analysis of our current conditions fit together very well. And both suggest our best strategy is mass noncompliance and a concerted effort to degrade the people pushing the panic, weaken their public images so fewer will believe them without question. Simultaneously, we need a concerted effort from many angles to fill our information streams with accurate data, correct analyses, and proper scientific skepticism of what the stupid people are doing. President Trump Sits Down to Discuss Joe Biden Introducing Communism to the US

I am often asked why the ‘system’ is so intensely focused on eliminating Donald Trump.  Sure, the decades past have highlighted attacks against various politicians with the Alinsky purpose to isolate, ridicule and marginalize them; however, in the history of American politics, no individual has been targeted at the scale of Donald Trump.  What makes this different?

I’ll answer that important question below this recent interview.  WATCH:

The answer to the question of why the entire system of institutions and agencies need to eliminate Donald Trump is actually answered by first standing back and remembering where things were before Trump.   The time when political subjects were not the all-consuming part of everyday discussion.

Before Donald Trump stepped into the political arena, the same institutions and agencies who attack him now were successfully able to manipulate public perceptions.  It was all a grand pantomime, a ruse, a Potemkin village filled jesters, distractions and carefully coordinated illusions of false choice.
